2013 has come and gone, but not without being a successful year for Axiom eSports. Since our performance review on our 1 year anniversary, the Axiom guys continued to close out the year with more leagues and admirable tournament placements. Now with the year finally over, Axiom's 2013 achievements were compiled for review. While reflecting over their results, the Axiom guys were asked to evaluate over their performance, their favorite memories, and what their goals are for 2014.

Yeah, no kidding. I wonder how all that prize money is distributed for teamleague winnings.
All prizemoney was distributed equally amongst the members (including Impact). We also gave a portion to TheSTC because he helped our players prepare for GSTL every single week.

Not bad. GSTL 1st place was about 41K, that's a very nice reward for the players.
Also, given that TheSTC recently was released from coL, and given how close he is with the Axiom players already (he really fits well with the team culture), I wouldn't be surprised if he joined Axiom soon haha.

No we really don't. House is still full and we have no extra sponsors. Over-recruiting is how you collapse your team. Since GSTL won't happen, there's no reason for us to get anyone else right now anyway. We only ever wanted to go to 6 players total anyway.

small tight cohesive teams are how everything gets done in this world.

Re: GSTL S2 win, was the prize distributed evenly only to the ones who played in the Finals? I forgot if Scarlett played that season, but MMA did for a few earlier rounds.
Oh good stuff. Really glad the financials worked out good this (last) year. I really like Impact's answers to the questions too, can't wait to see how he goes this year.
Not much of substance to add I'm afraid, just my honest respect for conducting business in a fair and honourable way. Hoping to see AxA collaborate sometime in the future, though I realize the opportunities are few and far between.

Innovation banked an additional 3.6k as well.
You may have noticed the 'Acer' part of the title is a bit misleading :p

I think we're all paid up in terms of prize money, don't think our guys are missing any of it
Thanks for the transparence as always TB. I think you and Genna are examples of team managers. A realistic and healthy approach to esport is something everyone should tend to.

Next step: World hunger!
Seriously though you and your wife did a great job this year, hopefully next year is just as successful!
Unrelated, but In the WTF is... Dominion online you said that a bunch of Koreans were with you over the holidays. Was that your team, if so I'd just like to throw you the best + most involved SC2 team manager award for 2013.
Congratz to Axiom on the great year. One of my favorite teams to follow, Axiom players interact so much with fans, and have put in quite a bit of time into learning English.

I imagine it was just split equally between all the players rather than the teams themselves.
Indeed.

We had CranK and Olivia over for the holidays since they were visiting the US at the time.
Flying the entire team over for Christmas when flights are at their most expensive would probably cost about as much as a years player salary.

Yes of course, makes sense, It's not even a guarantee that all of them would want to come, but you do speak very highly of Crank (Very often :D), so I assumed Crank came. If it's not to much to ask, what did you guys do?
Totalbiscuit, you are one of my favourite community members in starcraft because of your honesty. Honesty to the fans, to yourself, and to your players.
Everyone should follow your example and try to emulate your integrity.

Lotta gaming. Played a ton of Munchkin and Dominion and spent a lot of time playing Wii U games. Also of course went out shopping, restaurants and swimming.
