TLO and Grubby sure dont need you complaining for extra brownie points for them they are more than capable of beating Koreans at lans and we all know it stop being soft. How are we going to ever catch the Koreans in skill when youre literally willing to hide behind a wall of lag? Its not like they fear coming to your IEMS and Dreamhacks and taking foreigner money? God we are like prey to them with this thought process.

We all play starcraft and most of us have played cross server and know first hand whats up. So this segment of the foreigner community wanting us to pretend that cross server lag isnt a huge fucking issue at that level is pathetic. Wax didnt take away anything from their accomplishments he called it like it is. To me, and I maybe wrong, you guys seem like the biased ones in your interpretation of the article. It just isn't an option in yout thought process that a Korean pro can be beaten by a non-Korean. It must be lag. Anything else is simply not an option for you. To me you seem to be incredibly biased.

Beating Genius with cross server lag is nothing TLO or Grubby would bother bragging about. I might go even further and say they would expect to beat him without it (or at least fancy their chances) their skill levels are all pretty similar Id say. People can take what they want from someone elses statements and it is my opinion the way you interpreted it would reflect the opinion of insecure and soft side of the foreign community. I think foreigners can compete with Koreans if they truly believe, dig in, and try to construct an environment in the western e sports climate to rival that of Korea. But it takes hard work, and a lot of structural development. Oh, and there wont be time for back patting after beating a Korean cross server because we should EXPECT victory under those circumstances. Anything suggesting any less shows we need to step the fuck up and be rid of this defeatist attitude.

The fans of non-Koreans aren't the ones who feel so insecure that everytime one loses they have to blame lag, jetlag, the length of their network cable or a bad mouse. That is fully on the Korean-fans side. Same for defeatist attitude, that is completely coming from you, where the only reason a non-Korean beats a Korean is because of lag. That is the definition of a defeatist attitude.

That is the definition of a defeatist attitude. Its how you look at things bro. I read a lot the write ups and havent gotten the same impression as you lot, is all. Hence, the defeatist attitude because you took it the worst possible way. He reported on something and because thats what hes here for, right? You took something out of that report and exaggerated to the degree that you can cry wolf over it. Thats why I called it a defeatist attitude you are so used to crying that even when there isnt anything to cry about you cry anyway.
