in cooperation with Donkey Gaming (Facebook Donkey Gaming) I'm proud to announce a new german podcast about Starcraft 2 and it's eSport scene.
Donkey Gaming Talk
The DGTalk is a german podcast series covering all sort of topics from the last weeks which came up in the Starcraft 2 scene. From tournaments to recent discussions, we cover it all.
Right after the EPS Finals and the Fragbite Masters we invited two participants: ShoWTimE and GunGFuBanDa to discuss those topics. Beside him we have KnowMe as one of our regular guests.
Fabian "GunGFuBanDa" Mayer
Steffen "KnowMe" Fritzmeier
Tobias "ShoWTimE" Siebers
The topics for the this episode will be:
Recap: IEM San Jose
Recap: Fragbite Masters
Recap: EPS Finals
Offtopic: The right Mindest in professional gaming
You'll find the Podcast live at the Twitch Channel of Donkey Gaming http://www.twitch.tv/donkey_gaming (Direct Link)

The next epsidoe is on the way. Tomorrow at 4 p.m. I'll do a podcast with the guests Lambo, CPU and SaltTheWound. For more Informations, check out the Mainthread. I hope you tune in.
Needs more talk about the big games that were played, because it is rare to have players who are seemingly so well informed about the GSL and Proleague games and players. (looking at you, remax)
I think Remax and Unfiltered did talk decnt enought about GSL and Proleague matches. To really cover all of them you need to create an own GSL/Proleague Podcast which is really hard to do because you would have to watch every single game. I think for many people thats not doable.
On the other hand DG Talk is a german podcast which covers german topics. So I think thats the unique aspect of our show, because nobody else talks about this stuff, except the Szenecast which is essentially down.
Very good episode. For the adverisement/pricing discussion I just wanted to add that 500 ppl on the local soccer field cannot be compared to stream numbers. Your local car mechanic (change to any non multinational brand here) will never care about the thousands of people you can reach overseas, in eastern europe or in south east asia with your twitch stream.

Which is also why he doesn't advertise on twitch though.

Which is also why twitch pays not that much (because the demand is smaller). Basically the dilemma is, that small, local businesses don't want to advertise because of the wide spread of audience and the multinational companies don't care about the "small fish" (like twitch was) that much. I agree it got better but in austria I basically only started to get ads in 2014.
Tomorrow at 4pm we will be live with another episode of DGTalk. In the 13. Episode we invited the recent EPS Champion ShoWTimE, the Fragbite Masters Runner Up GunGFuBanDa and our regular guest KnowMe.
The 14th edition will air live tomorrow at 4pm. KnowMe, Lambo and MeikD will be with me and we will discuss the meaning of 2014 for the Starcraft 2 scene as well as the upcoming year. Tune in:
Tomorrow at 4 p.m. the 16th episode of the DGTalk will air live. This time we invited the Starcraft veteran Socke, as well as the Panzergeneral GoOdy and Tarrantius from Team Planetkey Dynamics.
