Feels like it's missing a Terran superstar, Taeja or Polt or Bomber. I'll definitely be tuning in for ~ro8.

Innovation!!! Looking to be another sick Dreamhack Bucharest, especially with TY and Roro coming. Also excited to see more Patience and of course Golden!

Good list of players, really excited!

INno, RorO, TY, Impact, JD etc.?! Holy shit what a lineup, can't wait to watch.

TY is only a superstar to people who watch Proleague. He's made zero waves outside of that format, and he's not likely to make a lot of waves his first time overseas. Inno is not suited for this meta climate and I'm not expecting much. He might break the ro8 barrier but that's as far as he goes. Jjakji's cool, but he's still 'just' a great player to me, not quite amazing, even though I expect him to get farther than Inno.
I'm still missing a bonafide superstar.

Gogogo Ax.Impact and Ax.Ryung!
Also shout-out for the mYinsanity players. <3 Especially cool to see Reynor will be competing.

D-D-D-D-Dreamhack! Awesome player list, this will be good (as always)! Edit: I hope Impact will make a splash, its time he brings his team league beast-mode to an offline tournament

I kind of agree with what he is saying about TY though. He hasn't really shown any individual league success and we've seen quite a few players really struggle in their first overseas tournament. It really wouldn't surprise me to see him bomb out much earlier than expected although I would prefer that he didn't

Honestly, seems like Maru's the only Terran superstar right now. Everyone else has question marks.

I agree with a lot of your points... but not the results.
How about a sigbet? If Inno makes it to RO4, I add '2014 year of the optimist' to my sig for two months. If Inno falls out before RO4, you add '2014 year of the cynic' to yours.

Why Flash.

Will be really interesting to see how TY does in a tournament setting like this. He does superbly well in Proleague where you only prepare for one match-up (two if you expect to be the ace player), so I wonder how he will do in a tournament where you face a larger number of players. Exciting for sure!
|
This is insane good lineup.
|
Looks like a really nice player list! Shame Flash declined. Would have loved to see him play against Jaedong in a foreign tournament. Something tells me that's not going to happen very soon again..
|
18 koreans for only 8 paid spots, I don't even want to think about the foreigner chances -.- I'll root for Life to win the tournament and for Serral to bring some nice upsets!

17 Koreans, that's 26% of the 65 participants (and 33% of the 52 non-Romanians). The foreigners are going to have to really fight for the prize money.
