Also, like, does this mean SC2 is doing kind of well in Korea? It's a lot of money to throw back in. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, is this a big blow-out to try and get attention, or do they actually see it being worthwhile to even maybe continue yearly? I think SC2 is definitely on the rise in Korea. If you look at the average size of the audience for Proleague now compared to this time a year ago, it's gotten much larger. Currently, I am basically only watching Proleague. You get to see a lot of different players, and the players take it really seriously, something I didn't always feel was the case with GSTL. The casters are really good as well.

Ah yeah thank you Why in Kanji ? There's kanji in Korean as well ? In Hangeul it's 이상록 correct ?

"Where" missing... Could be outside of Korea? If I'm not wrong they said some months ago that there will be KeSPA tournments not in South Korea.

Kanji is the Japanese adoption of Chinese characters in Japanese script. He probably meant Hanja which is the Korean adoption of Chinese characters in Korean script.

Good work, Kespa. Hopefully a foreigner qualifies this time. What? :S Great stuff, especially rewarding Proleague performances with opportunities for individual honours which is something I love to see. More tournaments in Korea is something I feel is crucial for the financial stability of the scene long term, the overheads involved with flying Koreans out everywhere must have an affect on finances and prize pools. For all its reputation, I have been quite impressed with Kespa's entry into SC2.
I agree with Wombat on this. Also, how's it bad that Blizzard keeps putting in the same amount of money as last year (just reordered without the season finals!), and now Kespa and GSL throw money ON TOP of that?
You can look at this tournament like it's the Dreamhack/IEM/RedBull/MLG of Korea. Last year they only had WCS as a point tournament in Korea. Now they have more, and they're open to players around the world. How's this bad for the scene?

Amazing, so cool to see a great tournament like this appear. It feels like sc2 is doing better in korean than ever.
Edit: Holy shit, if Flash gets top 2 Proleauge and Jaedong top 2 WCS NA, they might meet!!!!!!!!!

pretty big deal. that means Proleague numbers seem to be quite good. hopefully the times are not too bad for eu/america

Oh, this sounds promising! :D Can't wait!

edit @above yea, despite being an EG fanboy, i was never this into proleague last year even with EG-TL in it. 3 weeks until round 4 T__T It will be definitely comparable to IEM WC which is the only T1 tournament this season so far.
