The Spanish star player Juan "VortiX" Moreno Durán will according to Fragbite's sources soon be teamless as he will be leaving Mousesports by the end of the month. It is not yet clear where the 20-year old will continue his career.
The reason behind the spaniard's departure is not yet official, but the two parts - mouz and Vortix - have supposedly attempted to negotiate a new contract but were unable to reach an agreement. According to reports, the current contract expires in nine days.
It has been almost exactly a year since the Durán-duo, Vortix and his older brother Pedro "LucifroN" Moreno Durán left the Spanish e-Sports team Karont3 e-Sports for Mousesports, and shortly thereafter the two parted ways as Lucifron decided to take a break from his Starcraft 2 career [to focus on studies].
This will be the fourth player to leave mouz within six months. The Swedish Dan "hOpe" Gustafsson left the German organization along with the Polish Grzegorz "Mana" Komincz at the end of December last year, followed by Baek "Dear" Dong Jun who returned to South Korea and GSL a month ago.
Remaining on the team are germans Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider, Gabriel "HeRoMaRinE" Segat and Matic "Starbuck" Dejak from Slovenia. And Vortix, for another nine days.

Very big news, could really weaken Mouz's roster. Not sure if Lucifron will leave as well if his brother leaves.

I'd be disappointed to see such a strong foreign talent like VortiX leave Mouz and possibly StarCraft if it goes to that level.

I hope not, what is happening mouz?

They won't have enough players for ATC. :[
I hope he doesn't retire, because he is such a solid player.

Considering Vortix is still in contention for best foreigner as recently as this month, he'd better continue playing.
|
Lucifron still plays sc2?
|
Ouch, mouz is bleeding. Hopefully they pick someone up soon.
|
Just take a look at mouz sponsors on their homepage and you know whats up...

A lot of big changes with mouz recently. This month they've let go of their LoL team and picked up a DotA 2 team. Some higher-ups are making some big changes with the team.
|
They gave out big bucks for the new Dota 2 team (Team Dog) so i guess they need to give up on some games.

Mouz could replace him with a certain GSL champion that is teamless

Mouz.Seed? Plausible, I suppose. I'd imagine they would rather try and get another Zerg, though, and I can't imagine Nestea wanting to go for a foreign team.

To be honest, I don't think they replace VortiX with anybody with the same calibre or higher. I don't think VortiX demands much and he is one of the best foreigners, so letting him go would mean that mouz is downscaling even more. They would need a fourth man to play ATC, though.
