Samsung Galaxy Khan Stork has been selected as the SK Telecom Proleague 2014 Round 3 MVP with 23.19 percent of the total vote.
The breakdown of the voting is as follows: Reporters (40%) + tournament committee (40%) + fan voting (20%) = Result (100%)
Flash (KT, T): 0.0 + 4.0 + 11.99 = 15.99
Stats (KT, P): 0.0 + 4.0 + 0.14 = 4.14
Stork (Samsung, P): 15.0 + 8.0 + 0.19 = 23.19
Rain (SKT, P): 10.0 + 4.0 + 6.44 = 20.44
sOs (Jin Air, P): 0.0 + 4.0 + 0.69 = 4.69
Bbyong (CJ, T): 5.0 + 4.0 + 0.29 = 9.29
EffOrt (CJ, Z): 10.0 + 12.0 + 0.27 = 22.27

Khan finish 5th and Stork gets MVP lol....

Definitely should've been Bbyong jesus

Interesting things: Flash has like 60% of the fan vote Stats who went 3-1 (4-2 including playoffs) is nominated, but Byul and RorO who both went 5-1 were not. EffOrt was 0-1 in round robin and is nominated solely for his playoffs performance (3-2).
It seems that EffOrt and Stats were nominated for their clutch ace match performances.

Which is why the voting wasn't done solely by fan vote this round.

huh why is fan vote such low %?

But to be fair, Flash did have a 5-1 record which is better than Stork's 4-4, although Stork did win 2 ace matches, and his resurgence was exciting to watch. It seems to me that KeSPA wants the MVP award to go to the player with the most sensational performances, not the overall best performing player. This would also explain why EffOrt, who was completely anonymous during the regular round robin, is a close second.

They should make a "most improved player" award, as that's more what this represents I think. It's more that Stork has shown a meteoric rise this season, compared to the other names up there who were all doing well last year.

Indeed. A player like Bbyong will unfortunately never receive MVP :/

Well, ThorZaIN got the MVP award with a 1-3 map score :D

I'm never particularly happy with the results of this award. Just look at their records, their ace match records, and the caliber of players they beat. sOs had a huge season, and Bbyong had yet another fantastic run and all but carried his team. I'm still happy for Stork, but he went 4-4 and rode two early-round PvP ace wins to victory here

And I thought ThorZain winning the MVP award was not great. I think it's inspirational to see Stork finally making a breakthrough, but it really sucks when Bbyong was ON FIRE and was promoted to ACE (considering that he was a bench warmer during Round 1). W/e I'm still pretty upset about this result
