O'Gaming TV is happy to announce that the community made the second level of the crowdfunding possible.
As we promised, this incredible showmatch will let the NationWars 2 winner face South Korea.
The voting period to compose Team Korea starts now and end on July 26th with the official Korean Team announcement on stage ! Final day will start on 10:30 CET on saturday 26th july
This match will be played in a Best-of-9. Each team has only 3 players, each nation will have : -Two revives for the final, teams are not allowed to revive the same player twice. You can use the first revive during the middle of the match and it must be the same player who lost the map but the second revive had to be for the possible last match and it can't be the same player who was revived before.
Korea offers a list for the Starcraft2 community to vote and elect three amongst them.
The final day will start at 10.30 CEST on http://nationwars.ogaming.tv/ ! We hope to see you warm and ready to support your favorite team, and a great day of Starcraft, for Starcraft, for you !
It's sad -but not unsurprising at all, of course- that the likes of Classic, Parting, Rain, soO, Soulkey or Maru didn't apply. I think for optimal show the korean team should be Polt, Jaedong and MC -I'm not quite sure those 3 are the best players of the rolster, but they're definitely amongst the ones people will cheer the most for.
Edit : a bit disappointed not to see INnoVatioN here. Guess he'll be in Korea at the time.
Edit2 : I ended up voting for Polt, MC and Life, choosing to have a balanced rooster of players (1 T, 1 P, 1 Z). Jaedong would sure be a fan favorite, but man, Life is Life.
Fan favorite? Check Plays in proleague? Check Not seen at many tournaments these days? Check Star player for his team? Check Terran? Check (don't act like this wasn't a criteria )
MarinekingPrime HAS to be one of your players.
Also voted JD and MC, but I certainly respect the Bomber and Life picks

Classic, Parting, Rain, soO, Soulkey, Maru, Flash, TY, Zest, herO, Bbyong and sOs (along with their supporting casts) are all occupied with the Proleague playoffs and couldn't have played even if they wanted to. It's disappointing, granted, but the scheduling was somewhat unfortunate in this case.
Yeah, that's why I said it was not surprising. By the way, even without Proleague playoffs I don't think they would have travelled to Europe just to play a showmatch against people like Stephano or MajoR, talented though they may be (not trying to be insulting, but the players still involved except maybe Snute are a level below code S koreans).
It's worth mentioning that all the players that applied, though maybe not the most skilled of the koreans, are all awesome players and will definitely make a great show.
I'm quite amazed to see how popular MKP is compared to Polt or Bomber, who are both very lovable too I think ! Maybe it's the fact that we see so few of MKP outside Proleague that makes people want him this bad ^^
I voted for solar but he's not in the poll anymore, will my vote count anymore? If no, will I be able to vote again?

I voted MKP too cuz we're never seeing him play besides GSL qualifiers he keeps failing short in, and some proleague matches
impact, heart and crank balanced race wise won't over kill the foreigners and i probably won't watch if atleast 1 axiom player or mc doesn't gets through :p

Just want to see my King!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wish I could vote Maru too tho
This should be retitled vote for the Koreans on foreign teams (which maybe part but definitely not entire BEST OF KOREA). Not trying to hate, I am all for this event and will be supporting it my viewership and social networks. I hoped to see some soO, Zest, Taeja.

It isn't that they couldn't have played if they wanted to (well, I don't know about Taeja), but most of Korea's top players are playing the Proleague playoffs.

This match will be played after the end of the Proleague season though, in August.
I wanted to cast my vote for guys who don't get many shots to prove themselves right now, so I went with First and Symbol because they are both teamless and they are both capable of playing very entertaining games.

I can told you why there is no KeSPa players except for MarineKing. First good Korean players are related to KeSPA. I have good relations with some KeSPA players but I'm not allowed to invite them to the tournament because I need the coach/manager of the team to allow his players to be on the tournament. But my only way to talk to the manager is to talk to the player but they are not allowed to tell me who contact. We need to contact KeSPA but it's really hard to do.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask on this account or PM me on Aeromi.
Hello. If you want to contact KeSPA we have our contact information on our homepage. You can also contact us through our official Facebook or Twitter and can reach me through TL, Reddit, or Twitter.
Voting for the players that live in Europe so we can see normal games without lag on the European server. Too many tournament where lag was a big issue on NA server
Whatever the voter's choice will be, I can only think of one way for this to end: a slaughtering §!
polt life marineking .. because mkp has given some awesomeone games in his latest encounters, not because he just looks like a korean justin bieber.. Or maybe there is a bit of that :"3

His season in PL is nothing to be ashamed of. I doubt any of the player playing Nationwars could actually do as good as he did.
Did I miss anything or is MKP barely on the top 20 in Proleague wins? I'm sure players in Nationwars would be very lucky to even pick up a win in Proleague. But the discussion isn't about that, it is about how there are 19 players in Proleague that have more statistical reason to represent Korea than MKP. Also just to note, he is below .500. Maru, herO, sOs, Rain, Flash, Bbyong, and Soulkey have double the amount of wins.
Even if the Nationwars winning team some how miraculously gets couple map wins or even squeeze out a victory, it is meaningless.
I voted MKP too cuz we're never seeing him play besides GSL qualifiers he keeps failing short in, and some proleague matches
That just says to me he's not good enough. He hasn't been relevant for a very long time, ever since macro become more relevant and you couldn't just micro some marines to victory (micro which nowadays all top terrans can do).
Just really want to see the strongest Terrans out there play and do a good job, but I haven't been following closely enough to know who that is. Bomber/MMA?
