It's also made the early/mid game part of the matchup really boring and too f***ing predictable. Late game army control on both sides is still fun to watch, though.
Pre-patch Protoss had way too many options and Terrans had too few.
Now, with the Time Warp nerf weakening their all in capabilities (the Widow Mine helps with this too) and Templar openings no longer being part of the meta, the options each side has going into the mid game are a lot more even.
In a perfect world instead of stripping Protoss of their options they would've given Terran more options in the match up, but considering that would've required buffing them in ways that would've had unwanted impacts in the other two match ups it was much easier to just do what the balance team ended up doing.
Such is the price for balance.

It will be out soon!
In the future, please PM one of the editors (Zealously, lichter, DarkLordOlli) if you have questions about our event coverage instead of using unrelated threads. Thanks!

So lets see, widowmines and Thors have been making it tough for Zerg lately in ZvT. Snute comes up with a way to effectively nullify it and now Terran pros are crying imba again?

It was almost exclusively OSU! or twitter/reddit all weekend, I don't think we will see much funny on there during the interviews.

I don’t think these games were a good representation of the style because Snute was already so behind when he did try to go swarmhost in most of the games. The first game is a much better example for the build than the other because in that game at the beginning, it was mostly even when the game started.
Flash was down ~40 supply after the roach/baneling bust...

Flash was down ~40 supply after the roach/baneling bust... Yes, but nothing happened in the next couple of minutes and he was back on track quite quickly. If Snute planned some 2-2 Ling, Bane, Muta timing after that bust it would've mattered a lot, but since he was just macroing and harassing here and there, Flash had stabilized his economy and in the end he had the same supply as Snute.
People are saying how that game was over after Baneling bust which is wrong, the important moment was in the end when Mutas were destroying Flash's natural and kept killing his reinforcement while Snute successfully defended against Flash attack with Banelings and Swarm Hosts.

While Flash was able to normalise a bit, he was still always behind. Snute could tech up, get his fourth and spread creep with impunity, and Flash was just never able to get any map pressure or control.
