I'm having a good time as Terran. Reactor hellion is still a good build, and other than auto-countering blink on Cloud Kingdom and going reaper expo into a stim timing on Metalopolis I can play vs. Protoss the same way. And TvT hasn't changed at all; it would have been hard for people to play more aggressively.

Instead of just playing, I know have to spend time figuring out which maps are decent enough to keep playing on. Never used vetos before, but I wish we had more than 3....

The most horrible thing is that playing on non-ladder maps isnt gonna help much. First of all i ll have trouble finding opponents. And still it doesnt make any sense cause we have no clue what maps these "geniuses" are gonna use in 2015. So 90% playing on other maps would still be a complete waste of time.
edit: but i guess i have an idea for blizzard. Lets keep a constant ladder pool in 2015 for all seasons featuring: Derelict watcher Alterzim Stronghold Deadoulus Point Heavy Rain NeoPlanet S

Why? Those are all terrible maps.

A constant ladder pool is the single worst idea you can have. Honestly. And I'm not even talking about the maps you selected.

agree with both comments above, also it's very painful to see how much of a grasp the automated matchmaking of the ladder has.

Xel'naga must be the smallest ladder map ever. I don't mind Metalopolis.

I'd like to have a bigger map pool with additional vetoes, though, and maybe 1 or 2 maps per season could be "player's choice" so people can choose from a wider variety of different maps to accommodate one's personal playstyle.

I wish this map pool was around for maybe a week or so, but any longer than that is gonna get old (lel) really fast.

yeah, gues there's a reason why they're old after all, maybe because they got old.

The dream is real and I think I'm going to main protoss this season (normally zerg in ranked). Haven't played in a couple seasons but all these classic maps and the LOTV demo has me hyped. Should be a fun climb but not sure if I'll make it to masters because of the short season TT
