?
Proleague has a tradition of having title sponsor starting with S, ie. SKY, SK Planet, Shinhan Bank, SK Telecom, thus being called "SPL" for short.
I always thought the "S" in "SPL" standed for Starcraft... :O

http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/Proleague if we count out the pre proleague days and the MBC league, proleague always has title sponsors starting with S, same for SC2.
If it were up to me, It would be more like the old joint Proleague days. Perhaps with some Winners mixed into various seasons as well.
What would you have in mind? Ideally...
2v2's don't belong at the proleague level, that's all.

To be fair, we've never seen 2v2 played at a high level for any length of time on maps designed with professional competition in mind. We don't know how it could work.
Old Broodwar 2v2 were actually a very cool element of how a team fielded players and lead to great games... Reach/Yellow... common! TotalBiscuit also did some in his ShoutCraft Clan Wars which were excellent:VIDEO

And why would that be the case? The only problem i see is that the rosters are way too small to make this work, other than that it would be amazing and refreshing to see
2v2 isn't really balanced at the top level at all.. perhaps if we got new maps that would help. It'd take a lot of work to make it work though, but maybe it'd be interesting.
