So as we all know, Having a good comfortable chair is very important when you spend a long time in front of your computer playing StarCraft. I have been saving for the TeamLiquid Chair in the TL store but I was wondering others opinion's on this other cheaper brand called "Arozzi" , I couldn't find a thread here but I was wondering if anyone has an Arozzi gaming chair or has experienced the chair. I am in the market for a new Chair( Back Pain Ahhhh.... )
So...I feel like Maxnomic and DXRacer are on about the same level, but it would be nice to have the Maxnomic chair supporting TL too , obviously this Arozzi doesn't look as nice, but anyone have a better opinion on this?

Thanks people.
EDIT : There is also another chair I was unaware of called GTOmega Racing Chair, they look somewhat decent as well...
EDIT 2 : GTOmega Racing Chair company will not ship to US, If they do it costs almost 200$ for shipping, not worth it for US Customers, I found another company called "Cipher Auto", they have chairs that are very similar to DXRacer / EZ Lounge,
Here is a list of websites to look at them for yourself
http://www.amazon.com/Cipher-CPA5001-Office-Racing-Leatherette/dp/B00AU6ZQVM - Cipher Auto
http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Lounge-Racing-Office-Chair/dp/B00L8CL9KY - EZ Lounge
(Both are similar in looks to DXRacer)
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=garden&field-keywords=arozzi&sprefix=arozz,garden Arozzi gaming chair, they look really nice.
Check them out guys, really nice, think I am just going to suck it up and get Cipher, they have good reviews, and I don't think I can afford a DXRacer chair, unless I got the junior size which I would probably fit into, but don't want it to be underwhelming....
Check it out guys.

The one that has the best cervical support. screw the brand.

I'm curious about this as well. I want a new chair with beastly lumbar support. xD

The random gaming chair i got that has an adjustable mid-back pad xD

I thought dxracer and maxnomix were made by the same company - needforseat? Or more specifically the dxracer brand was outsourced to a third party for manufacture. But they decided to go inhouse for maxnomic?
Am I wrong here?

From what I gathered it seems you are right but not sure, Arozzi and GTO Omega Racing Chair also look decent for the amount of money, I guess the main question here is, go for arozzi / GT Omega Racing , or wait for DXRacer / Maxnomic ? Arozzi / GTO Omega are considerably cheaper, but obviously not as good quality I feel...some people here must know. :-P

I don't think I have ever bumped one of my own threads before, but I am only doing this so others can see the new chair company I found that I have never heard of before so far there are....
1. The obvious / best choice (Most expensive) = DXRacer / MAXNOMIC (TL's awesome chair) 2. Arozzi Gaming Chair ( Really great interesting look, sleek and original, not a NEEDFORSEAT replica.) 3. Cipher Auto Racing Chair ( Looks great, almost identical to DXRacer, for cheaper. right now you can get one for 180-190$) 4. GTOmega Racing Chair ( UK based, ridiculous shipping cost to US, not worth it) 5. EZ Lounge Chair ( NEEDFORSEAT Replica for 210$-230$)
I feel this is really relevant for anyone that is the market for a new chair around the Christmas Time.
Check it !!

EDIT : Sorry I meant to PM that -_-

If you want a comfortable chair that properly supports you... then you would not go for any of the chairs you mentioned. Those are for looks only, they are actually no better than a 50$ Ikea chair.
For example Herman Miller chairs... though they are quite expensive. But even the cheaper brands that do similar things are miles better than these silly gaming chairs.

I had no idea there was such a thing as gaming chair. Personally, I hardly think it matters- what would matter is comfort and that it can be properly adjusted to the right height of your desk- and that includes arm rest positioning. Since wrecking my hands a couple years ago, I'm super sensitive to that sort of thing and found a chair that goes exactly to the right height so my wrists aren't at a funny position.
If you have something like a government surplus store, they are super great. The chairs are only lightly used and you can go in and test a ton of chairs and get one for $40 or less.

Get either a steelcase leap or a herman miller aeron. If you can't afford a new one, go used.

Isn't the best office chair also the best gaming chair? There are a lot of reviews for office chairs.

Exactly that. People have been hard at work designing the best chairs for gaming for many many years now. It's just that they are not branded as gaming chairs, they are office chairs.

Im all in for Ikea Markus in teh budget range.

I've sat in $1000+ executive chairs (in a meeting room) and I've yet to sit in anything more comfy than my DXracer chair. Sure it has bells and frills and fancy marketing nonsense but it's legitimately comfy and I never feel uncomfortable, never have back aches. It's just great for me. I'm 6 feet tall and it's perfectly good for my needs.
That said, I'm sure you can get stuff just as comfortable for $150-200, and perhaps just as durable (I've had this chair for 18 months and it show no signs of wear). There's no lack of perfectly good office chairs out there, you just need to find the good one(s).
Note: I haven't tried Maxnomic or Arozzi. It's hard to tell if a chair if good by just sitting on it, tbh. People will go the store and sit in 20 chairs for 15 seconds each but really my previous chair was about $200, it was awesome for 30-45 minutes but after a few hours the back aches would creep in and you'd be uncomfortable. In the end you get lucky or you don't, and everyone is different. From reading around, the DXRacer is uncomfy to some people who are shorter than me, for instance. Good luck finding yours

I like my Maxnomic. Pain gone, gaming all day every day ( and do some study work )
|
I always thought maxnomic and dxracer were the same...
|
NeedforSeat was a reseller of dxracer like for example chairsforgaming is it actually for Canada. But at some point NeedforSeat decided to stop working with dxracer chairs and started to produce ( or let produce ) Maxnomic chairs as their own brand. At least I think that this should be the right description.
|
I think you should set a budget otherwise some ppl will start naming 900-2000 dollar office chairs again and that's not what the average gamer has lying around.
