Hope he is not done with gaming, he is more than capable of finishing his studies and become one of the top players in whatever game he wants to.

But hard to catch them if you are not actively looking. Khaldor does alot of Heroes tournament content. And seeing the brother play together. Damn Sc2 needs 2v2 / 3v3 xD

About his eventual 'downfall' because of his lack of motivation, I've followed VortiX since he did his first steps in WC3 and he never really cared so much about loving the game he played, being motivated or trying his best with practise regimes, and I always have thought that wasn't a problem at all for him, being in fact a strength that enabled him to not feel much pressure, because then his overwhelming skills were free to work within the game. Any games the Moreno Duran brothers play become a part of them, it's beyond their choice, they will become frikin good players and any words or complains won't matter, because their capabilities and hunger to be the best will overcome everything. Good luck in HoTS, VortiX!!

So he does what he enjoys and that's clever enough. Show nested quote + I just couldn’t focus at all since it was extremely boring for me to play practice games and I got into the mentality that I couldn’t win the tournaments I attended. Showing up to tournaments and staying positive about your own abilities over and over again is a skill in itself and it's not for everyone. Hopefully the above doesn't become a problem in Heroes. It's a bit sad to see VortiX take a break since he shows such great games but hey, anything's better than nothing. Pretty much ever single pro in Europe has been wrecked by this guy on a regular basis at some point or another, we know how much of a monster he can be. His peak skill is high and his match-ups are well rounded - so even if he might not be confident about 1st places once in a while, he will probably return to cause serious damage whenever he feels like it. GL HF VortiX and thx for the games in 2014. I've been out of the SC2 scene for a long time now (2 years pretty much, still watch some tourney's) and this was essentially what LucifroN would do in 2011/2012. Go inactive for months at a time due to motivation and Uni studies, then come back and stomp everyone whenever he felt like it. They are a seriously talented family the Moreno Durán boys no doubt about that

Though they've now released an open beta date (mid jan). So I guess the competition scenme will start expanding.

This end of year 2014 is so painful for me. Almost all my favorite players retire or teams disband. VortiX - i wish you all best, i was a true fan of yours. Now Happy is the only foreign man i have left now to really cheer for with my heart (besides my hometown heroes tlo and lambo).
