Hello, everyone!
There's always been this one little thing missing from the score screen for me.
Seeing your supply cap time, amount of workers created, apm etc. is obviously great, and often useful. But I also find myself wondering - how many marines did I create last game? How many siege tanks? How many of my units died to Colossi? And Storm? How many C-14 bullets were fired? How many banelings exploded and why? How much friendly fire damage did I do? How many units were transported via medivacs, and how many brave warriors died in mid air, before even being deployed onto the battlefield? How much damage was absorbed by carpace/armor upgrades?
Long story short - I would love to see an additional statistics page after each game (and all time stats too, of course!) concerning any, sometimes completely useless, statistics that one can think of. I remember such stats appearing in the early GTA games, and I think that it would be fun to see these in SC2
I've no idea about the technical side of this, whether this should be done by an add-on similar to these used by casters, or implemented into the game itself (Blizz <3), or even if it's possible at all - but I would love to hear your feedback on this.

I'd imagine the easiest way to do this would be through a replay upload website like ggtracker. If it was built into the client I'd imagine it would cause lag time on the score screen and would definitely be awkward clutter for most people. But I'm sure you could get a website made which scans the replays and creates 'leaderboards' etc for those stats.

Well, I guess it would have to somehow work on the fly, I think noone would bother to upload a replay (alt tab the game, copy the files etc) just to see those stats... But who knows, maybe you're right.
I also wonder if it is possible at all to get such data from the replay // client. Maybe there's just no efficient way to e.g count the marine shots fired or banes morphed. On the other hand, it works with workers killed and similar stuff , so who knows?

There are websites that provide this information when you upload replays. Some even track them for pro players.

The difficulty you will have is that this information is not intrinsically part of the replay. You can see who died to what, etc, but you can't see who shot what when. I have thoughts on how to add this kind of thing, but it'll be some time before I could even begin to implement them. In the meantime, you can check out this and SCELight to get what you can out of it.

Thanks a lot, I'll look into it!

This is stuff we need ingame (after a game and all time numbers in the statistics). Who cares for exp when you can have the number of Marines built or Zerglings killed in the last game / in all your games of that gamemode.

What I liked very much in Warcraft 3 were the long term statistics on the battle.net website. How much did I mine per minute in all my 1v1 games (all time)? How much in a specific map? How was my win rate compared to game duration on specific maps and match ups etc? I always had a feeling i learned more from those statistics than from analyzing a single game. But i guess I just talked about useful statistics, not funny ones. :D
So here are some more ideas for funny statistics: - Baneling landmines missed - Baneling landmines sniped - Amount of health repaired/healed/regenerated - Unit with the most kills - Area of vision obtained per second (average) - Area of creep - Numbers of abilities used (force field, storm, stim, larva inject, etc)

I mentioned this one time in the German Blizzard forum, where I asked about an overview about your statistics somewhere in the Profile... because there are soooo many statistics which are already taken care of but just thrown away after the game and I as a fan of statistics find that really sad.
Just like some extra tab in your profile where you can see how many units of one kind you built / killed so far or how many resources you've mined etc. etc.
But my idea was just commented with "nobody cares" ^^

A leaderboard with the all time most murderous unit would be pretty funny. You could do one that keeps track of a player's unit's average life expectancy, to see whose army we definitely don't want to be in.

You guys know how long it took it for us to just get match up stats. Something like this is probably on their "List" but is low priority.

Sure... it's just that technically it's not that difficult to implement but yeah I can understand if they lack on manpower so I'm happy as long as they more important things get well

But my idea was just commented with "nobody cares" ^^ I'd really like to have better statistics ingame. It's sad that we need tools like Scelight to track useful stuff like SQ, inject timings and build-order-specific winrates. I also still don't get why the league history overview has to look that terrible like it does now.

I'd love for SC2 statistics to get to Major League Baseball levels of ridiculousness. Things like "He bats .458 with a runner on first and second with one out in the 6th inning" and so on.
Just imagine Tasteless busting out something ridiculous like "So Artosis, did you know Innovation has an 83% winrate when he makes 5 marines by 6 minutes on Deadwing on Tuesdays?"

Well it would be a 'nice-to-have' feature for sure. However Blizzard's dev probably have a lot of other more significant tasks to do with LoTV on horizon. Additionally which specific statistics we would like to see? For me personally "amount of shots fired" or "amount of medivac boost used" would be used rather for 'funsies' (like amount of slaps in dungeon keeper ) - not sure if worth spending time implementing feature tho. However if it would be possible to use such data and other info from replays to for example prepare statistics about frequency of using specific build on certain map, amount of 2base all-ins or macro plays from given player etc. then THAT would be really interesting and would give a lot of insight into player's styles and current meta.

Completely agree! Detailed statistics on extensive matters certainly will make players (at least I will) excited!
