hahaha nice to hear from sojung

Lichter, you could try to interview Min Sik Ko aka Reis. Or maybe he is too shady? :-P
|
Oh the cringe is so strong!
|
At first i thought the title of the interview series was pretty rude. Calling the korean gamers NPCs because they are about as interesting/talkative as them... Actually me interpreting it like that is pretty rude.
Sojung is really great though. I would love to see her work at events like IEM and Dreamhack in 2015.
I would probably die first since I'd jump around and maybe get bitten by a snake and die.
rip

<3 <3 <3 <3
great interview
|
I just wanted to share this: i fell in love with Sojung the moment i heard her beautiful voice like a year or so during her first SPL appearance. p.s. And her looks were astonishing as well.
|
<3 Sojung, please keep up the hard work! Also, great show from Lichter, fun to read.
|
Woho \o/ I'll be really looking forward to this one. Every past article that I've read from Lichter was golden.
Also whats up with that balloon eating photo?
|
Note: If you have any suggestions on who to interview next or what questions to ask, feel free to comment here or tweet at me!
Please interview Canata !
|
She does have normal looking body parts
|
Please interview John the Translator next!
|
great read!~~....but sojung could write gibberish and it would still be a great read~~... I also enjoyed the Questions
|
I do like interviews like these
|
lichter's awesome at awkward interviews. He should pair up with Scarlett once more to create the most awesome awkward interview series. I even think he did already?
|
|
Would donate one of my kidney for a woman like this, plus nice read!
|
what a gem a normal, violent gem
|
Great interview and a great idea to do such a serie. If you could get a hold of a kespa ref for the next one it d be interesting too! Also, Sojung s great. She does a very good job grats to her.

Haha cute. But this can only get creepy...

Ooh, I'm not that fan of interviews usually, but that one was cool! Also I'm trying to picture Wolf going hunting with just some fur clothes on and a primitive weapon but that doesn't compute.

Lol this was great clever title too, def do more when possible

NASL soundguy next please!!!!!

why would you ask her about her cuteness or her body? how absurd. and hetero-sexist in my point of view. why not ask about her interests, her knowledgein other fields, her education, her plans for the future, her favorite food, her car, her favorite instrument or band, or ANYTHING ELSE not screaming "she is a female and people think she is hot?!". women* get almost constant awareness (meaning: are rated) for their bodies anyway - please, TL-staff, do not fall in the line with that

those were questions she asked in her interviews to players in proleague, so i asked her the same questions she asked other people. they weren't random questions.

My thoughts exactly, but with Lichter's response it seems alittle more respectable I guess :p

Very nice interview. Thanks a lot!
I would like a series of interviews with all the SPL coaches. I know we get the interview before each SPL match, but I want to hear how their day looks like, what is the opinion of their families on their job etc. That would be nice, I guess.
Also Korean casters interview would be appreciated!
Edit> And directors from GSL and SPL! I want to know more about how the show happens
|
Sojung is great, maybe we will see her at a weekend tournament soon? (smix, watch out! ^^)
|
Haha, great questions. "Harvard educated saltwater crocodile with a verified driver's license glued inside a bumper car" is oddly specific. Anything you'd like to share with us, lichter?

thank you for responding so fast and clearing that up! now it does make more sense
still the comments in this thread are evidence enough that it is something different if a woman is asked those things or a man. circumstances matter. i really like the idea of putting a spotlight on the lesser know people who make our passion into commercial success (hopefully ... more or less ...). that is why i reacted initially so sad to see the few women in the scene way to often reduced to cuteness or boyfriend-questions. but in general: keep up the good work!

"other people do it" is a valid excuse when you're dealing with a different culture than an American or European one.
It was hardly a rude interview at all.
|
Nice interview. She sounds so much like one of my classmates lol.
|
Man it's hard. I'm not the cute type.
Flagrantly untrue, that deserves a bonk
More seriously, nice interview, it's interesting to hear the backstories of the people we see on these broadcasts. Pretty nice mix of serious and silly questions.
For future interviews I'd like to hear from the Korean casters/analysts or Korean team coaches (oov interview maybe?? that would be absolutely sick)
Also, in the chance Sojung sees this: could you get the 10 Questions 10 Answers series to translate the progamers' Korean at the end? I love the series because we get to see the players' personality, so I'd like to know what they're saying in the end (I assume it's about the experience and general messages to the fans)
|
Fun interview! Thanks for that
