Don't say that
Bunny was a little sloppy in his WCS group but he's looked great in a few online tournaments lately, and he's got a very reasonable group. MaNa's got a tougher group but he also looked great in WCS Ro32, crushing through his group. TLO is TLO, and he wanted a group with Zergs, so there's a shot all around. But maybe that's just the Liquid fan in me trying to rationalize a Ro8 that's all Liquid

It was broadcasted. edit : why does it look suspicious to you? We even have a two-koreans group

The biggest proof of the non-suspicious draw is the presence of MaNa and FireCake in the same group.

Okay then, if it was broadcasted live. I withdraw my previous statement. No reason to continue this discussion.

I expect all Liquid players except TLO to advance. TLO will have a hard time I fear (and I'm used to him not fulfilling expectations )
I somehow feel like Mana will manage to beat Hydra.
Yeah I said Polt & Hydra to qualify earlier but given what Hydra showed last week I'm pretty much 50/50 about him advancing. Could be MaNa (and I hope it'll be).
What a draw... Polt and Hydra don't get any favors either... Mana could beat either one when he plays his A+ game and Firecake is a wild card. Still think the Koreans get out... but wow... what a group.

This one will go for the full 6 hours!
… for the first game.
After that, we're warmed up properly! In fact, Mana's keyboard has melted a bit on the left side, but manages to finish the game thanks to Firecake, who spends most of the time fanning Mana, keeping his keyboard just below the magic 76½°C mark.

Pretty much my feelings for Liquid as well. Let's go all Liquid quarterfinals!
Well, most people already predicted the same as I'm going to predict but I'll still do
Group 1: ForGG is the absolute favourite and also has to only practice one match-up. Serral seems to be the best zerg in he group. TLO could do something with his innovative builds. XiGua looked shakie in his group, and we all should hope for him not going full chineese meta (IA reference) ForGG and Serra! get out
Group 2 Snute is deffinitly the favourite in this group with more experience and a better form than the other players. ShoWTimE is one good protoss, although his group played out more nicely for him than it could have, he still topped it. Personally I don't know to much about PiG and MacSed but that both of them got out of the group 2nd playing the terran they first lost to, we saw PiGs zvz only once against TargA but he plays from austrailia so he should know his matchup. MacSeds win in pvp was against HuK who played poorly that evening. Snute and ShoWTimE get out.
Group 3 Captain America didn't look to good in his round of 32 group not going through as safe as many predicted. Hydra looked even more shakie by loosing against MorroW in their initial match. MaNa however won his group without a loss and looked like he could get out of the group. FireCake well ...... Swarmhosts and long games that comes into my mind when I think about him. Polt and Hydra (although MaNa could beat both of them)
Group 4: Welmu the strrrrronk finish protoss who is pretty good besides giving awesome interviews winning his group without a loss. Kane showed good results by topping his group but that was due to zvz and one zvt one of those is usefull in this group. Has, the prince of darkness coul do ANYTHING. Bunny is always a contender for the spot of the best foreign terran although he lost against his protoss teammate. Welmu and Bunny get out (Although Has)
A: ForGG, Serral B: Snute, MacSed (after watching the match of ShowTime against iAsonu, I think MacSed can win) C: MaNa, Hydra (Polt had a little problem) D: Bunny, Welmu
Serral and Welmu luckily not the worst possible groups. Serral avoids some silly protoss bullshit and Welmu avoids Hydra. I mean still nervous a little bit like always, but if they continue playing solid in the WCS hey they even have an ok chance for first who knows.
Group D is the most interesting group I think. Four interesting, aggressive, stylistic players. Two established favorites and two wildcard underdogs.
I can't get very excited over groups B and C just because of Snute and especially FireCake. I am just so done with the whole mass swarm host thing. I hope Polt and Hydra wreck FireCake. I really really do. Snute will almost certainly make it out but at least there should be very few (if any) Protoss in the Ro8 so making a unit other tham swarm hosts will be required from that point on.

Actually he has a lot of experience, that's just a something Redeye likes to say on stream for the story . Serral has been visiting Assemblys, DHs, Copenhagen games etc. for years. If anything he has an advantage, since younger guys don't get exhausted from travelling or playing long hours as much.
How in hell did TeamLiquid avoided a teamkill here? They usually get one even in stacked tournaments with many many players, and manage to get exactly one player in each group in this Ro16?
Hey guys! I'm actually just here to ask a question that might have a pretty obvious answer. Where are the Terrans? Here, in the SSL, and in proleague, there seem to be very, very few. I would say that there is a balancing issue, but the Terrans in proleague seem to be doing quite well against both P and Z. What is it then? Is it simply that less people play Terran?
Tbh terran is only a good race when it's a korean playing it. Foreigners make it farther as Z or P. The reason is that terran can become very demanding mechanically if you want to take advantage of all it has to offer.
That said, the zergs should largely disappear by ro8

While terrans have always been well represented in Korea (except during the Year of Protoss where we had the most all time low representation of a race in GSL with 3 terrans in Ro32), the foreign scene has always been a bit lacking on good terrans, at least concurrently.
Currently, you have to think about Bunny or Happy. There always has been really good foreign terrans, just not many at the same time I'd say. ThorZaIN, Kas, Beastyqt, Fenix, TLO (when he played terran), LucifroN, SjoW, qxc, Dayshi, etc. If you're looking for Terrans, support Bunny, as he's quite in a good position to go far in these WCS (He even has a really manageable group in this round).
