I see. Well... that's not exactly a lot, but it's something I guess. Really glad to see players like PartinG actively take part in all these tournaments.

I'm going to post an update in my thread soon so you'll be able to see how much of an effect it can have lol
thanks for the updates, I keep that page constantly pinned on my desktop and laptop lol, along with a bunch of other liquipedia tabs lol

Really wanted to go to this but I really don't see why they need to start as early as 9am local time. The eSports events I've attended overseas have all started around noon, it just makes it impossible for people from outside of London to be able to make it into the city, over to Fulham on the tube and into the venue for such an early time without having to resort to booking a hotel.

Group B is the hardest but group C is also very tough

That is a pretty stacked event and Jaedong is back

Sweet, I really want Snute to have his skill start peaking so that going into WCS Premier finals he just crushes.
|
I am finally going to an SC event :-)
Can't wait!

Harstem is ill too and is replaced by Nathanias.
|
Wow, so many people getting ill right before the event, that kinda sucks.
|
Definitely attending at least one day

Gogo Snute, here's to hoping he's in good form for this event. His macro mechanics seem to have been slipping the last couple of weeks, but I've got high hopes. Starting off with a tough group but I think he can handle Targa fairly well.
|
Here's hoping Snute arrives in time for no forfeit. He has been stuck in transit because of massive snow falls in Oslo. Train to Sweden was the solution, apparently..
Source: Snute's twitter
Rest of the tweets between him and Targa translates as: Targa: wtf. When do you land? Snute: Oslo was a nightmare yesterday, 700+ SAS airline customers were standing in line and impossible to safely reschedule the flight. Landing at 5PM, hopefully, so our match could be a bit late.

Caster list:
If Khaldor, Jorosar and Pughy know their job and stick to leading the cast, asking questions and don't try themselves at analysis, we could get some great casts! I also hope Pughy and Jorosar will try to relax and not be all serious and correct all the time, it sometimes makes the cast awkward or boring imo.

Does anyone know if buying a ticket guarantees a seat? (asking as my wife has medical issues and can't stand for ours)

I'd try their twitter, but I would assume that's the case. It's basically a cinema and the booking procedure is the same, where you get your own seat number and all. They have over 600 seats too and there are VIP tickets, that guarantee VIP seats. Still pretty sure that normal tickets guarantee normal seats, just as when you would go watch a movie.
Edit: I asked them on twitter, but I am 99% sure that everybody with a ticket has a seat or it would be sold out like in a movie and you can't get a ticket. If anything this should be one of the most comfortable events ever to watch live.
Edit 2: And here is the comfirmation
Enjoy the evening with your wife!

Nathanias and Ret, save this cast for me. D:
I wasn't aware Khaldor even did Starcraft anymore.
Really looking forward to seeing the Liquid boys in action. Wanna see Bunny show that dominance he's had in Fragbite and continue stomping, and I'd love to see Snute bring the pain. Hopefully the travel isn't too hard on him.
