Maybe herO, Stats, soO, Dream, Panic, Trap, CJ? Was CJ $4 or 5? http://www.teamliquid.net/fantasy/proleague/Stats.php?r=23 On May 06 2015 06:47 TeamLiquid ESPORTS wrote: Despite the two teams' co-dominance, CJ's one map advantage gave them direct seeding into the finals, while Jin Air had to get through the bronze match first. That series was already intriguing because it pitted the winner of the Telecom Derby against the all-kill behemoth in Jin Air, with the promise of either revenge against CJ or an opportunity to remind them who was truly the better team. Jin Air got a bye past the Bronze match by finishing 2nd. SKT-KT was the Bronze match and KT-Jin Air was the Silver match.

I haven't heard any consistent terminology used by KeSPA or the casters, but I use "Bronze match" to mean that the loser earns bronze. Calling KT-Jin Air the "Silver match" to me implies that the winner earns silver, which isn't necessarily true, and also implies that the winner of SKT-KT would earn bronze in the "Bronze match". I prefer to call what SKT and KT played in the "fourth place match" because it only definitively determines who is fourth, as the next match determines who earns bronze, hence why I call it the "Bronze match." If you can point me to where there has been a standardization of this nomenclature, I'd appreciate it.

He is right, that's how it's been called in the Proleague's official fb page: Bronze: KT vs SKT Silver: KT vs Jin Air Gold: Jin Air vs CJ

Well the terminology sort of makes sense: Bronze match: whoever wins is guaranteed Bronze or above. Silver match: whoever wins is guaranteed Silver or above. Gold match: whoever wins is guaranteed Gold.

Thanks! OK, I think that means the best no-trade team possible was herO[jOin], Stats, soO, sKyHigh, Trap, Panic, CJ Entus, which costs $29 and would have made 138 points (i.e. 2nd place). In any case, great write-up! I really look forward to round 3!
