Possible to lower resolution without stretching?

If you're running games at a lower resolution for performance reasons, make sure to ONLY use 16 resolutions so that the stretching is in the right aspect ratio. Then just move your monitor further away from you if the pixelation is bothering you, which is pretty much the same thing as what you're trying to do. Move monitor further away = centering screen with black borders. Also, you get a performance hit running games in windowed or windowed borderless modes. Try to always run demanding games in fullscreen. I mean, you have an awsome QHD screen, probably decently sized too at 24" to 27". I would use the fuck out of it, instead of trying to artificially downgrade it into a 19" 1080p or 900p monitor. | ||

It was just that having to have my eyes dart around my 27 inch screen all the time gave me tunnel vision both visually and psychologically. | ||
