I'm curious to see FireCake in LotV Well, maybe they just have a "local" team, competiting on the french scene. I don't know if Aeromi and the second one you're talking about know a lot about this scene. I know I don't.

I decided to try living the dream and MadKraken will help me greatly for this. I am not full time since July. I finished my 6 months internship the 16 september and received my degree the second week of october. I wanted to take 1 month of vacations from here because i have been very very busy for 2 year with all my holidays going in tournaments/practice. (I saw my family 2 times in 2 years...) But the qualifiers for DH winter started before the release so i had to cancel my holidays and prepare all my stuffs for progaming faster than i thought. I talked and see so many nice people in events, we are all here because we have a passion in gaming/starcraft/blizzard-games so in real life it was always a pleasure to meet and talk with pros/viewers/organizers. For this reason i am trying to set up an environment where i can stream my games to share my passion with others, and also train for tournaments. In real life people sometimes people say bad things about each other but they fix the conflict because they can talk, on the internet its a lot harder and people love to see drama... We may never meet each other but i hope i will change your mind about me. On November 03 2015 06:04 Voxtren wrote: Finally none of the current sc2 team draft Firecake. I don't how far he could raise is skill for the dreamhack without teammate. Maybe with the lack of metagame on LOtV Ladder will be enought for training. Wait and see. Sc2 is not in a very good shape right now. I have obviously talked with many teams, especially those with a sc2 roster. Most of the teams fear about the future of sc2 and prefer not to get new players (this is why so many players are teamless) and wait until the beginning of WCS season next year to start hiring players. Some teams also look for koreans players only because these players are "true" hardworkers, not lazy foreigners that start practicing at 12am To be fair, teammates in sc2 are not important. I have plenty of players to talk with and to train. Most of the players practice by laddering anyway.

I remember game he was clearly losing, so he just went AFK. The other player was so confused, he just expected a trap behind every corner and advanced extremely cautiously, until he´s realized FireCake is just AKF :D .

I don´t read reddit and only check the "Community News" highlight section on the main page from time to time, so pardon my ignorance. Found one topic, it was kind of messily composed, probably expecting the reader to know anything about what is going on, but from what was there, it is nothing important. Just a little meltdown, quite normal in sport really, saw that a lot of times with friends, what is important is for people around you to pull you thru. I´ve got no idea what happened there and little info to go on, but basing my opinion on one meltdown seems silly, I guess people are forced to this, since everything happens so fast in esports, your career is over faster, than it gets to speed in "traditional" sports. To save this from total off-topic, same thing with FireCake, maybe he had a trashy attitude, but people usually need years to form their identity in the scene they are active in, unfortunately, SC2 players don´t have years, but that doesn´t mean we shouldn´t take it into consideration, when forming our opinion.
