ROOT Gaming just tweeted they have acquired Mexican zerg player JimRising.
JimRising is considered one of the best players of Latin America, with 2 appearances in WCS Challenger in 2015, and multiple top finishes in Copa América these past 3 years.
JimRising has been staying in the ROOT house for the past few days, and plans to stay there for at least a few more months.

JimRising has always been one of the best players in Latin America. In a way he was part of my introduction to esports as a mutual friend once came to my house when I was a noob that only played with the mouse, and he told me the pro scne and his friend Jim who wnated to be a pro and practiced through hours and hours, since 2010. I'm glad to see his effor is finally paying off in the international scene and I wish him well.

Hello, our site is down for maintenance so we didn't get to make an announcement there:
Jim has been asking to join ROOT for about 3 years, he isn't the fastest improving player ever but his hard work and persistence are rare qualities in themselves that I can't wait to work with, hopefully he'll get a lot better training at the ROOT house in cali, thanks everyone for your support as usual!

He's easily the third best player in the region, at least that also get exposure to the rest of the scene, excited to see what he can do for ROOT

Good for him. He's been Mexico's 2nd-best player since at least the dawn of HotS. He's earned his chance, now it's on him to make something of it.

I appreciate the honesty! Good luck with JimRising, and Root overall!

Glad to hear about it, Jim has been on the scene like forever, financing almost by his stream and some low key sponsors. Finally someone stepped up and invest on him. He´s definitely one of the most consistent players out there. GO GO GO Jim Rising !!! For the swarm !!! Y VIVA MÉXICO CABRONES !!! GL & HF !!!

You sound like you are not a noob anymore huehuehue. Like old times already Phantom =P
Now, seriously, nice for JimRising and nice fro ROOT, I think the first pro I heard of was CatZ when destroying ladder in LA and streaming lol, I didn't want to get matched with him by mistake hahaha, then friends told me about JimRising and a lot more of pros from LA, it is nice to see some of them togheter working hard, good luck to both, Catz with ROOT overall and JimRising.

Now ROOT is my favorite team! always supporting you Jim, GL!!!

Jim is a cool guy. He's been gm on KR server at least a couple times and never afraid to queue up dozens of games on his real account... real ladder monster. Him and Catz seem to get along well on stream. Gl with the training and enjoy Cali :D

From what I understand about TL is you cannot share your opinion, unless you praise the players/teams to heaven.
