Daniel “StarNaN” Olsson will be leaving Property after being a member of the Starcraft 2 squad for almost two years. During that time StarNaN has been a solid Protoss player and managed to reach the playoffs of the Swedish Nationals two seasons in a row and also going far in several Dreamhack Open events.
Pedram Suneskog – Starcraft 2 manager
“I want to take this opportunity to thank Daniel “StarNaN” Ohlsson for his time in Property, it has been a joy to have him on our team. I really appreciate everything he has done for Property and he has become more than a player in our team. StarNaN has become a big part of our Property family. And it makes me sad seeing him leave. But I wish him all the best at his new job.”
Daniel “StarNaN” Ohlsson
“After a long Starcraft 2 career I am both happy and sad to announce my retirement. Although I didn’t reach the level or got the results I wanted, I’m still happy that I took the opportunity and did what I always dreamed about doing. Now I’m moving on to something else that I really enjoy, making games awesome.
I couldn’t have done any of this without the support of my teams, Property, Western Wolves and the smaller ones before. Neither could I have done this without the support of all of you. It doesn’t matter if you were a long time subscriber, the stranger in Bucharest that bought me food or seen me once on a stream, thank you all!
Hope to see you all in the future, side by side, as fans of esports.”
It is always tough to say goodbye to a player but we are glad that Daniel’s skill set will be used to make games even better in the future. Thanks for these two years Daniel!
