...Choi Yeonsung, the coach of SKT T1, said that "Till the game, we didn`t care whether we`re doing well, nor what`s the right answer to win."
Choi also stated, "It`s a very sad thing for a fan when your favourite team and payers are suspected. However, SKT won`t be suspected, because we`ll win every game."
That's really cool of iloveoov to say but I don't see it really meaning much... The team could be bribing it's opponents to lose in which case it would still be match fixing and winning.
The pay off in match fixes comes when an heavy underdog beats someone they really shouldn't. Paying off people you're already expected to beat doesn't really make anyone money.

He didn't say they wouldn't matchfix, but that they would not be suspected. Most people don't suspect gametime matchfixing and stuff so he is kinda right . Very nice trashtalk however they will lose to a random team or two.
On a serious note, I'm no detective, but money passes through bank accounts so wouldn't it be smart to have all players make their accounts public and be forbidden from using alts. Make them declare all assets etc. Not sure if there is any precedent, but it's not like there isn't match fixing in other sports. A quick google search found suspicions in Tennis http://www.torontosun.com/2016/01/17/documents-show-mix-fixing-exists-in-pro-tennis-report

There's this thing called cash :p
Sure, maybe. But it will usually end up in a bank account especially b/c law breakers aren't always the most clever. Looks like in Canada the Canadian Revenue Agency does random audits of people for student loans. They could do the same here, though it's costly no doubt.
I guess the people hunting matchfixers aren't so keen to let people know their method.
This probably doesn't apply to this case, but in competition/sports, it usually turns out to be a bad sign when competitors say something like this. It's the most outspoken ones that end up getting popped themselves. Usually is a smoke screen since they are guilty of the same thing.

I think this is just another case of someone within the eSports industry having absolutely no fucking clue how to do PR and oov just let something slip that he shouldn't have.
