Ques: You managed to win your match.
Ans: I am not confident in my PvZ so i thought today's match would be very difficult. Although it was a 2:1 victory, i am still happy being able to advance.
Ques: After you know your opponent was Soulkey, what were your thoughts?
Ans: He is a zerg player and even though i joked about defeating him easily, i still felt that it was a difficult matchup.
Ques: How did you prepare for your match?
Ans: I wasn't playing in SPL for a week, Dark was helping me with my practice. Yesterday was our team's rest day and soO helped me to practiced a lot.
Ques: Your opponent went for a baneling bust in game 1, did you have any vision of it coming?
Ans: I played against Soulkey on ladder a few times, and he used the same strategy before and i was thinking that even if i can't open 3 base, i will just stick to 2 base.
Ques: What was the reason for losing game 2?
Ans: The fight in the middle did not go well for me. I had a lot of immortals but my control wasn't good, that's why i lost.
Ques: As a protoss, is there anything you can do to counter lurkers?
Ans: Protoss should stick to 4 bases and defend.(somebody clarify this for me, the chinese translation was using some weird terms) But it's very hard to do that, so we can only build up an immortal based army.
Ques: Your next opponent is going to be Patience.
Ans: During live matches, i have only had disrupters against disrupters in PvP, so i am quite worried.
But the match against him should be very interesting. This match should be very exciting and tense.
Ques: How far do you think you can go?
Ans: It's really hard to move up from the loser's round. Of course it would be good if i can reach the finals but before that there are still a lot of matches to play.
I think my goal is just to play my best in every match. Win one match at a time and i should be able to reach the finals.
Ques: You would be playing Bo5 from next round onwards.
Ans: It shouldn't have any difference in PvP. Because i have a good win rate in Bo5 in tournaments, so actually it is a good thing for me.
Ques: Any last words?
Ans: I will practice hard for my PvP in order to get a good result in my next match.

Ques: How do you feel about winning your match?
Ans: All along, i have always been able to reach the finals if i dropped into the loser's round. So the pattern continues and i am very happy to win.
Ques: Did you ever think that you were able to beat soO?
Ans: I have not been practicing with soO recently so i have no idea of his current level of play.
Ques: You lost your first game.
Ans: I was very nervous. After defending my opponent's attack i thought i was definitely going to win.
But i had no observer and i did not continue to make units and i lost in the end.
Ques: What were your thoughts in game 2, after seeing the hatchery in your 2nd base?
Ans: I thought it was gg. I managed to barely defend the initial attacks and zerg did not have enough units to finish me off so i thought i still had a chance to win.
Ques: What were your thoughts in game 3, after seeing the mutalisks?
Ans: i was thinking that if i did not went and attack him now i would lose. I wasn't ruling out the chance of him going mutalisks in game 3.
Ques: Why didn't you rule out mutalisks?
Ans: Normally zerg goes for roach, ravager and hydra which is very strong, so i would go for fast disrupters. My luck is still very good.
Ques: We heard that you help Byun with his practice.
Ans: Because of SPL, everybody has been busy,it was hard to find practice partners. So i helped him practiced a bit while i was warming up.
Ques: Any last words?
Ans: I must get into the finals, and i will practice hard to do that. I want to thank the MVP zerg players for helping me practice.
I would also like to thank Coach Choya for always taking good care of me.

Ques: How do you feel about winning?
Ans: I actually didn't think that i was winning during the games, so being able to win in the end makes me very happy.
Ques: Why did you feel that you were going to lose?
Ans: Recently i have been losing a lot. I was second in IEM, did not advance to GSL Code S and i dropped to the loser's round in SSL. So i was thinking whether i was going to gg in multiple competitions. And i was never a confident person to begin with so i felt like i was declining.
Ques: So that was why you were so happy after winning the third game.
Ans: I am always overjoyed after winning. I kept on playing SC2 because i enjoy the feeling of winning.
Ques: Why are you not confident in yourself?
Ans: I have no idea as well, the difference in online and offline matches is huge.
Ques: Have you ever went and see a Psychologist?
Ans: I have never done anything like that. I used to eat (some korean medicine?) before my matches but i am much better now. I was very nervous in the past and dropped the mousepad or spilled water on the keyboard.
Ques: You actually played quite well when you were on ZeNEX.
Ans: I have forgotten about that period. I don't even know how i played in competitions during that time. Even today i felt very nervous, i don't even know what i am thinking.
Ques: Your next opponent is Alive.
Ans: The winner of that match would be the last terran in the tournament. If i am able to perform like i am capable of in online matches, i would definitely win.
I have beaten him frequently online. But his performances in the big offline tournaments have been very good recently. So i might lose.
Ques: What must you do to overcome the nervousness?
Ans: Even though it was the second match of the day, i came earlier than the players of the first match. I came 2-3 hours earlier to sit down in the booth and get used to the environment. But weirdly enough i was still nervous when playing.
Ques: If 10 points was the full marks for today's match, how many points would you rate yourself?
Ans: 9 points. Not too bad but i hope to get high points.
Ques: You seem to be contradicting yourself.
Ans: It wasn't easy getting this point. After losing the first game, i was thinking: "Didn't i promise to win today?"
Ques: Anything else you wish to say?
Ans: I was unable to thank the players who helped me during the live interview.
Myungsik helped me in my practice, and even though Patience had a PvZ today he still helped me practice, so i hope he loses today (haha), just joking. Departure and Gamja helped me as well. There were many other people but i can't remember now, hope they are not disapointed.

Ques: Any words on winning?
Ans: Winning today's match was easier than i expected, i can't even believe it myself. I feel sorry about beating my good friend Byul, so i will work even harder and fight to get into the finals.
Ques: How did you prepare your strategy for game 1?
Ans: My play style tends to prefer tanks and medivacs. While the zerg player tend to use zergling drops and roaches.
So i chose a strategy that counters that. As long as it does not get scouted by overlords, i will be able to win.
Ques: You were able to win quite easily in game 2.
Ans: It i were to rate the game, out of 10 i would give it 8.5. After orbital shipyard was picked, i thought that if i was able to win game 1, i should be able to win 2:0 today.
So i didn't even prepare for game 3. I focused all my efforts in preparing for Ulrena and Orbital Shipyard. My win rate for TvZ was very high while practicing, thus i was very confident.
Ques: What if there was a game 3?
Ans: Even if there was a game 3, i had prepared an opening. I think that the chances of me winning was very high. My opponent and i are very close, we know each other very well so i was very confident today.
Ques: Recently in winner's interviews, you have been mentioning that you are very lucky.
Ans: Even today i was very lucky. If i say i am lucky, my opponent might be unhappy, but i still felt that luck was with me in the earlier stages.
If i can advance to the Ro4, i will not talk about luck anymore and do my best to prepare.
Ques: You should be able to continue your recent good form for a long time?
Ans: That is what i am worried about. I have never been the focus of attention even after playing for so long. Under such scrutiny, if i do not have the skills to back it up, i will lose everything in an instant.
Thinking about how far my luck or skills can carry me, makes me practice even harder.
Ques: Any last words?
Ans: I want to thank my No.1, No.2 and No.3 Fans. They are the reason why i have continued to play Lotv. When i was feeling hesitant, they encouraged me by saying that they wanted to see me in the winner's interview. That was what pushed me to practice hard. I hope they can continue to be my fans.
I would also like to thank the afreeca firm and representative. (don't really know a good translation for both)
After Monday's SPL match, we had a break until wednesday so i was worried there was nobody to practice with. But Curious and DRGLing practiced with me during their breaks and i am very thankful to them. I will buy something nice for them to eat.
