We think all players should compete regardless their age. Make change the rules by signing this petition.
Thanks.

Not to mention that most of the wording of the petition is flowery nonsense, even in French.

I wonder why so many people seem to think this Blizzard just made their rules in order to screw with young players.

Obviously it is not allowed in some countries like Germany where Heromarine had to wait forever before he could play EPS, while it is allowed in others like Sweden where 13 and 14 years olds like reynor have been competing in DHs quite often. I have no idea how the law looks in France and if it's not allowed then Clem had no chance at any point. It's just sad that the admins let him play if that's the case.

This is like one of those rules when you have to be 12 years old to watch a film, but there is also this must-be-13-years-old restriction. Absolutely no difference. Child labour? I don't think it's labour if you participate in competition. Do you ban all math competitions for students in school too? It's about the same.

But I know it must suck for him. It is technically considered a violation of child labor laws. But we must ask ourselves this: Is it a violation of any sports regulation laws and or policies besides the rules that Blizzard has stipulated in the WCS player's handbook? Pro LoL players and SC2 players have been able to obtain athlete visas, but are these visas considered "work" or "play" visas? EDIT: the first reply to this thread has been added to this post.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to see any teenagers' dream get crushed because of this, but sometimes you have to realize that making a petition because you didn't read the rules in the first place is... Fuck that sh.t, I don't even know why I'm bothering explaining it to you.
