I'm mostly a lurker here, but what I see every week after the punctual Community Feedback Update is too many people asking for a Nydus nerf in form of reversing its invincibility while popping out. Well, I propose a change:
-Make it progressively vulnerable, that is from the beginning of popping process 100% invincible to fully popped (units can tunnel) 100% damageable. A scale per se. First glance? untouchable. Middle of the way? 50% damage possible and so on.
-Queens can heal it while it's popping, obviously from the origin point. This enhances playability from the defender and the offender, in form of 1.- defender should micro more units to attack the nydus while it progressively pops, and 2.- the offender should take care of it with enough queens and healing spells. Healing is proportional to the aforementioned invincibility scale. 3.- the offender could send an unexpected attack with lings/mutas or w/e suits him/her while the defender is regrouping around the nydus. More units surrounding? Faster killing/less defensive positions and so on.

All this whine is coming from scrubs as noone uses nydus in competitve play. It should be buffed not nerfed.

nydus is fine as it is..
noone ever used it, when you could attack the nydus while burrowing. so why go back to that stage..

Well, it's about bringing the fun back into a stale unit.

Well your resolution doesn't really fix the problem, the point of invincible nydus were to make it possible for the zerg to actually get it off. Your proposed "fix" would revert it to just being denied over and over and no one would use it (they still arent atm btw).
If you reverse the way you are thinking it might be a decent patch (even though I don't agree that nydus needs a nerf), if anything make the nydus susceptible right at the start and then more and more invincible. That way zergs still need to place it well and other races still has a chance to stop it if they are very fast or the zerg is too cheeky with the placement.

Good idea Shuffleblade, Your reverse proposition makes sense strategy-wise, but has a flaw: it doesn't make sense to turn 100% invincible just a fraction before it turns 100% vulnerable again
but consider what I've said in previous post: bring back the fun into a stale unit (which can be fun, running units up and down? microing queens to heal properly? pronged attack and defending while trying to surround the nydus?)
