*Hanjin Shipping is a subsidiary of KAL(Korean Air). It`s the biggest shipping company in Korea and the 7th worldwide. Simply, it`s a fellow subsidiary of JinAir.
Since 1 trillion Won (approximately 9 billion dollars) has been spent over H.S, this result might influence KAL and it`s subsidiaries` liquidity.

I do not believe this would influence JAGW sponsorship. Just for your information.

For someone who doesn't understand the business world like me, can you explain what this means and why it is related to Starcraft? Or did I just miss some previous key piece of news?

Since the CEO of Hanjin group refused to put their money on H.S. because of Liquidity, it would be an issue if a branch company sponsors certain sport team which is not an official subsidiary.
Or, simply, the parent company might go bankrupt. - this won`t happen tho.

Gosh, this brings back memories of STX shipping going into the red and disbanding the team! Really hope it doesn't affect JAGW!
Thouhastmail - I really appreciate you sharing such stuff from the Korean media pipeline. It shakes up the monotony and slow days in TL. Keep it up!

It went bankrupt.
“Hanjin called us and said: ‘We’re going bankrupt and we can’t pay any bills — so don’t bother asking,’ ” said J. Kip Louttit, executive director of the Marine Exchange of Southern California, which provides traffic control for the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the nation’s busiest port complex.
