Players that didn't qualify through a global qualifier are considered invitees, so they have to advance a least one round to win WCS points. is this confirmed? because it doesnt really make sense to me if you qualifie through a qualifier you arent an invitee

In addition to the required Global Qualifiers, WCS partners may invite additional players at their discretion Any player in the tournament that did not qualify through a Global Qualifier will be considered an invitee Invitees may not be seeded into the Top 8 and will only earn points after advancing a round http://wcs.battle.net/sc2/en/articles/2016-wcs-details-and-requirements

First of all he's in the NA qualifier which is easier than the EU one, and in the event that no one relevant gets points (which is pretty likely) he only has to outZvZ Elazer

The invites to the tournament are only the top 4 pro-league players

Their wording of Global Qualifiers refers to qualifiers that are held all over the world, including regional qualifiers. The confusion comes from the awkward wording that KeSPA used for their qualifiers that anyone could join, also called "Global Qualifiers". Thus, all players that qualify for KeSPA cup automatically get 225 WCS points.
