We got your back Nerchio - give'em hell! :D

Really trying to shove that Nerchio hype down our throats, huh.

This back and forth is awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, how stupid of inven to interview Nerchio, they should only interview the Korean players in KeSPA Cup!
How dare Koreans in general be hyped about foreigners playing in Korea. And now some of them even volunteer to translate the interviews and post them on TL. Really, I'm sick of it!

Don't worry. Neeb already did that.

PLSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
Its ' and not `
-.-

I always thought the perception of foreigners was that there's a few good ones that can at least compete in Korea. But overall they are miles behind the Korean pros. Doubt that I'm gonna change mind based of how well Mlord, nerch, or Neeb play. Unless they all get into ro8 which would be insane.
Although it would change my perception of Nerchio is he can do something decent there. Because I never thought his play was of that kind of standard compared with what Neeb has done

Yeah, I had that impression too. Like, there was Bunny and Snute in WCS EU along with Naniwa and Stephano, but i think the main difference here is that these are foreigners trying to beat Koreans on their own turf. It's not like this is an IEM where there's more foreigners or worse Koreans (aside from Rogue) and the Koreans are jet-lagged and in a foreign environment.
Here, the Koreans are likely trying harder because there's more Koreans, and there is also a longer time to prepare for each group and the ro8. So I would place this closer to a mini-GSL or SSL rather than an IEM (and definitely not a Dreamhack).
As for Nerchio, I'm kind of mixed because I'm not really much of a fan of his, I don't cheer for Zerg, but I want foreigners to do well.

It would change my perception of Nerchio if he actually became humble. But now, I want him to win the first match and get destroyed by Maru in the winners match. Then, he could try to show some effort in the decider match.
|
I think a lot of people take him way too seriously. Nerchio's an awesome dude, hope he gets through

That's if Maru makes it to the winner's match. Imagine a world where Patience and Nerchio come out of a group that contains Classic and Maru? The underdogs versus the Starleague champions.

I know that judgemental attitude from Korean fans who would shit all over players who dared to show confidence without winning everything.

haha Nerchio, good stuff. : )

It's also because so many fans shit on foreign pros, all he's doing is restoring balance.
