Would have worked perfectly. I personally don't dislike a mirror here and there, but like this, there is the possibility of having 4 mirrors right at the start. Anyone else having the same thoughts? Do you realize how arbitrary and unfair this would be? Drawing were fine, and the fact we have 2 mirrors from a 4/2/2 race repartition is not shocking.

That's a pretty standard way to determine a bracket and it works that way in almost all tournaments. It worked this way in GSL as well for example. Guess you never had it explained to you in such detail before.

No, i don't see why this would be arbitrary and unfair, sry. At least try to make clear what u are talking about. Maybe a player base of 8 or less is not suitable for this kinda drawing system, cuz there would be no variance left in the worst case (here could have worked), but applying it on a wider player count.. why not?

But foreigners are the most competitive they've ever been against Korea including Neeblet winning a tournament on Korean soil (the first time a non-Korean has done this since Grrr 16 years ago)

If ByuN (current GSL champion) counts as a reliable source, ShoWTimE is actually that good. ShoWTimE helped ByuN practice vs Dear, so they played a lot.
