Group E has 3 GSL finalists and still might not be the most stacked group. Groups C and G look pretty strong too. It's also great to see Scarlett in group F!

Interesting that KeeN's officially on Team Leifeng though
Her group seems very doable. Myungsik is an Overwatch player now, Alive is inconsistent at best, and she showed she can beat the best Protoss in Korea when she 2-1'd Stats. I'm glad she's in one of the early afternoon groups so her NA fans can watch.
Scarlett can totally make it out of her group. I would say that ZvP is her strongest matchup at the moment (she just beat stats 2-1), so it's very realistic that she can get first or second in her group.
Does anyone know whether Scarlett's group will be played at a reasonable NA hour? I remember Blizzard saying that some groups will be played at a more foreigner-friendly hour this year.

I'm quite content with the racial distribution among the groups, that should ensure we have some variety in the ro16 as well. I'd be more than happy, though, if most terrans made it through.

Only Jjakji (1st - 2011 Nov) and Leenock (2nd - 2011 Nov) have been in the finals of GSL.

Literally every GSL since 20-goddamn-10 has been at 3-4 am for me. You have absolutely 0 right to complain. Get some passion.

Ryung is one of the few that more or less regularly beats both of them in online cups. But this is GSL I know

Definitely my favorite group tho
Stats in GSL is not much chop usually. Hopefully his SSL form transfers over now or something.

we should expect players like Stats, TY, Soo, ByuL to perform well until at least quarter-final, lol.
Also, any news on what map pool GSL will use? I like this current pool but GSL goes til March and I don't know if I feel like watching this map pool until then! Also wondering if GSL is picking up any random maps like they usually tend to do.

God I hope GSL picks some of their own maps instead of just using the dream pool until March.

Just an fyi Bunny/jjakji are both actually really good right now

Well, maybe Bunny could beat Keen but I don't see him advancing over Zest or Rogue. As for Group E, Dark is easy #1 and honestly the other 3 to me are kind of a toss up, I just think Cure will edge it out in the end.

Zest has been slipping in PvT lately. Shocking considering how he started this year with some of the best MU stats we've ever seen. He's gone back to his HotS PvT. I'm going with the Bunny upset, that guy's been good for awhile now.

Bunny can beat rogue and/or zest if it was a single Best of 1. But I think you guys forget it's 2 (or 3) best of 3s. No way Bunny makes it out of the group.

he has just whooped soO's ass in a bo3 for the second time this month

Yeah, Bunny might indeed be the favorite in that group. Although I guess we don't really see enough of Rogue to know how he's doing atm. Unless Zest seriously upgraded his PvT he's gonna have his hands full even making it out of this group.

Last time jjakji and Leenock saw the GSL finals was still in WOL.
