Very confident, hopefully she does well.
Haha yeah I'm sure games look different in the booth than out of it, so she's about as qualified as it gets when talking about similarities/differences.
Good interview! <3

i hope she meets innovation in the ro16, so he can crush her.

Great read. Nice insight on playstyle and practice. Loved the TaeJa talk.
I truly believe Scarlett will go far in GSL ! Gogo Sasha !

How is there not some form of outrage over the Liberator spot. That is completely broken and such an easy fix. I presume the progamers will have a gentlemens agreement not to use it...

definitely lol. she showed that she doesnt need to make it to the late game in order to win for example at nation wars vs korea anyway, so i'm not sure what kind of dislike convinced you that she wont make it out no matter what.

also liked reading the part about TaeJa. I always said that from pure skill he's one of the best players of all time.
I agree 100% with this. It's scary to think with how good all the top terrans are right now, to place one of them in 3rd or fourth place sounds mad.
Byun, Innovation, TY, Maru.
I'd have to still give ByuN the top spot though. He has consistently delivered during the top stages (Blizzcon and GSL), and he just shoots up to a different league when he plays during important matches. I mean his road to the finals in Blizzcon included downing the best performers in their respective races ( TY, Stats, Dark). There will probably be some disagreement here, but I think I would pick ByuN, Inno, and TY over Maru in terms of who would win GSL or an event like Blizzcon. I love all of them though.

Maru rekting Solar in the group stages of last IEM came to my mind during the interview

Thanks for the interview!

If scarlett was in a group with inno byun sos 90% she advances. In her current group? 20%

If Maru reaches the GSL finals, I'll fly to Seoul.

In that very same interview Artosis said "little does he know its top four that get seeded" when he responded like that
EDIT: Or maybe it was the 2nd place interview. It was some interview in the last GSL broadcast

Good to hear that Scarlett is confident, but I do hope she knows better than to think practice == GSL. It's been demonstrated that both INnoVation and ByuN hold back during practice.
Dark called ByuN a "wolf in sheep's clothing" because he lost all their practice games then brought his A-game to IEM. Inno infamously said "Zerg OP" because he had a terrible winrate against them during practice.....right after he crushed ByuL and Losira without dropping a map in his GSL group.
And just yesterday, two of the NationWars casters (Funka and Drogo I think) were talking about how Maru beat Scarlett 3-0 at WESG, and in the next sentence, how Inno was just as good as Maru.
Scarlett is good, and apparently she's confident too, but I would still bet on any of Byun, Inno, Maru, or TY every day of the week.

Good luck to Scarlett! Never underestimate her skill in ZvT. Always routing for you.

Man the 0-4 is gonna go over rough here
|
She's the Queen of Blades! :O Best of luck to her.

Not only does practice =/= real games and some players are known to hold back in practice, but scarlett is also known to exaggerate a bit when she talks. We'll see of course. I wish her luck and I'm sure it will be a fun group either way
