Hi all!
I found the old thread regarding this, but there are a lot of missed pictures already, and maybe there is something new for now. I am going to Seoul next week, and I will also be there on the 3rd of June, when the SC matches will take place:
http://www.teamliquid.net/calendar/?view=week&year=2017&month=6&day=1&team=&league=&game=
Can somebody tell me, how to find the arenas, where these matches take place? How to get tickets there? And some useful information will also be perfect.
Thank you!

Hi,
here s a link. Yes it s in Korean but there is a map at the bottom so it ll be useful for you. Here is basically all the info you need that is on the map:
Subway line 2 station samseong (삼성), exit 1. On the map it says 삼성역 (역 means station)
The street is Jonghapwoondongjang.
It s number 626, second floor.
I think you have to get the tickets directly there. Come early, it s first come first serve. If you re in that area or on line 2 my suggestion would be to go there on another game day (like may be bw? or w/e game they have) and ask them directly.
Print the map and bring it with you so you can ask people in the street to help you.
Basic sentence: "jason" hamnida , yogi odiyo? (it s a g as in yoga) the whole sentence means excuse me, where is this? and point at the map ("jason" hamnida means sorry, if you say Jason like the first name it s not exactly the sound but close enough to be understood)
that should be enough in case you get lost. have fun!
take pics and make a blog when you come back

To get to the GSL Studios, you want to get off on Subway Line 2 (Green Line) at Samseong Station. Leave out of exit one, and walk straight. The GSL Studio building is the last building on the right before a bridge/end of the street. If you look for the Afreeca FreecUP studio sign on the second floor, you will see it. The studio is within that building, take the elevator to the second floor. Free admission, so you don't have to worry about tickets. Just make sure you get there ~15 min before the matches start.
Wednesday games start at 6:30pm KST, Saturday games are at 1pm KST.
Here's a quick map i mocked up for you (i was in Seoul a few months ago so helping a fellow traveler
Have fun!

Its adress is Street Jonghapwoondongjang 626? I found only this. The following link shows the info regarding e-sport stadium, which is located in trade center iPark Mall. http://english.visitseoul.net/attractions/e-Sports-Stadium_/3376#And its adress is the following: 140-013 55, Hangang-daero 23-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Trade center: http://www.iparkmall.co.kr/main/main.asp
Ipark mall is the old venue but not the Afreeca one. It s no longer used for gsl.
You should go to the address we gave you.

Thank you very much together! I take a camera with me, and I will record complete travel to eSport event, and then I will give you the link to the videos. Do korean people speak english there? Is it difficult to find someone speaking english?

well they have to learn English at school so they have a basic understanding of it but it s better to use short and easy sentences by default. A lot of people also speak really well but it s pretty random. they are all very helpful though, just try to be as polite as possible when asking something, always say sorry first etc...
Basically, act like a Canadian .p

SSL is held at Nexon Arena: 54 Seocho-daero 77-gil, Seocho 4(sa)-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul You ride line no.2, and go to Gangnam Station. Take exit no.10 and walk straight for about 500m, then take a left. The building that has Nexon Arena has a Paris Baguette so you know you've reached the right place. Maybe I'll go and check out Dear as well. Remember to purchase your ticket - good luck

Hi all!
Thank you so much for such detailed info!!!! Yesterday and all days before I missed all matches, because I was working (this is a business trip). But tomorrow (03.06.2017) I will go to FreecUP Studio to GSL, which will be at 1pm KST if I am not mistaken. Seoul is crazy cool. Here everything is so different from Europe, that the head goes 360° crazy. Thee food is extremely HOT, the buildings are like in futuristic films, the evening life is overcrowded with colors, so I like it!!! Very soon I will make a report regarding my trip, and of course I will try to make fotos with PROs. ^^ Hope that at FreecUP is possible to buy some T-Shirts and get the autograph of PROs on this T-Shirts, or?

I've never seen souvenirs at Freecup.. There are lot of clothing stores at Coex mall at Samsung Stn. If I were you. Go to the mall to buy Tshirts and have lunch there, before match. Enjoy it.
