Redesign of SC2 Patch Notes
Mod Name: Bareleon Mod
Reasoning behind each change. Scroll down to the botoom for my reasoning with the macro nerfs
Protoss:
Chronoboost cool down increased from 5 seconds to 15 seconds (recducing boost to 5% didn't make it in this version). Requires Cyber core to unlock
Mothership core/mothership removed
Warpgate: Removed. Gateway unit build times decreased.
Sentry: FF removed
Stalker: tried to make them better
-Shields and HP increased from 80/80 to 85/100.
-Attack damage increased from 10 (+4 vs armored) to 12 (+4 vs armored)
-Blink cool down incrwased to 30 seconds
Zealot: less amove
shields/HP increased from 50/100 to 60/100
Charge: No longer charges
Adept: No warp gate, no shade. More microable
-Shade removed.
-Shields/HP increased from 70/70 to 80/80
-Attack range increased from 4 to 5.
-Movement speed increased to 3.5
-Cost increased from 100 min/25 gas to 100 min/50 gas
-Attack speed increased to 1.70
Dark Templar: NO more warp gate
-Can now be built after building Templar Archives.
High Templar: it was strong in BW vs mech
-Psi storm damage incrased vs mech.
Archon: Tried to make them less a-move
-Attack range reduced from 3 to 2
Immortal: Too strong vs armored
-Damage vs armored reduced from +30 to +20
-Sheilds reduced from 100 to 50
Collossus
-Redesigned
-Now is a siege breaker, can only only attack structures
Disrupter:
-Decreased ability cool down
-Decreased damage
Phoenix:
-Attack speed increased to 0.55
Carrier: Mass carrier was too strong
-Interceptor cost 25 min
-HP increased from 250 to 300
Arbiture:
-New unit
-Can use stais word and recall
-Has a passive cloak ability
Oracle: (see widow mine) also moved stais to arbiture and revalation was too easy
-Pulsar beam, stasis ward and revalation removed
-Disruption web added
Tempest:
-Removed
Forge: So cannon rushes wont be OP
-Build time increased to 65 seconds.
Photon cannon: Thought the BW version attacked faster, tried to make it more like that.
-Shields/HP reduced from 150/150 to 100/100
-Attack speed increased to 1.0
Pylon: No photon overcharge so I think it wont be bad to increase their stats
-Shields/HP increased from 200/200 to 300/300
Fleet Beacon: To help prevent arbiture rushes
-New upgrade for stasis ward: Once researched, stais ward cast time is reduced to 1 second and time it stays on the map to 5 seconds (this upgrade doesnt work yet and cast time is at 1 second already)
-Build time increased from 60 seconds to 70 seconds
Zerg:
Slightly increased the movement speed of the following unnits: Lurker, roach, ravager, hydra, infestor
Movement speed bonus on creep removed (reason: too hard to micro on creep)
Ravager:
-Currosive Bile no longer effects mechanical and structures
-HP increased to 155
-Attack damage increased from 16 to 18
Lurker: Too many long range units in the game. Burrow time in sc2 was balanced around their 10 attack range.
-Damage increased from 20 (+10 vs armored) to 22 (+10 vs armored)
-Attack rnage decreased from 10 to 6
-Decreased burrow time
Queen:
-New ability-spawn broodling: target any enemy ground unit
-Movement speed increased to 2.25
-Spawn larva energy cost increased to 75
-Cost increased from 150/0 and 2 supply to 250/100 and 6 supply
Infestor:
-Neural Parasite cast range increased to 10
-New ability: Plague-reduces enemy units and buildings HP to 1
Viper: Zerg needs more cool moments. Something to try.
-Parasitic Bomb: Can now cast on your own air units, cannot damage ground units unless they get in range of a unit that has been effected. Can now damage your own units
Broodlord: Love the idea of prevnting oppoent from a-moving but didn't like it that the broodlings could attack since they are free
-Broodling attack damage decreased to 0
Overlord: Too slow to do drops
-Movement speed upgrade bonus increased from 1.5 to 1.9
Hydra:
-morph to lurker cost amd build time reduced
Spine Crawler: Always though BW version was stronger so tried to make more like that
-HP increased to 400
-Attack damage increased to 40.
-Attack speed: 2.0

-morph to lurker den cost and build time reduced
Swarm host:
-Removed
Terran:
Thor: Trying to make thors more interesting
-HP reduced to 250
-Movement speed increased to 2.6
-cost reduced to 200/200
-Can now use stim
-Marauder: Removed charge and speed bonus on creep so now this can be removed plus it took away micro
-Concussive shells removed
-now has the reeper ability
Helbat:
-Can now use stim
Raven: Made more viable plus to help mech
-Auto turret removed
-Cost decreased from 200 gas to 150 gas
-Movement speed increased from 2.75 to 2.8
-New ability: Time Warp
-New ability: Temporal lift
Reeper:
-ability removed
Banshee: Too many units in this game are so strong
-Attack damage reduced from 24 to 20
-Attack range reduced from 6 to 5
Viking: Too many long range units in the game. Was too strong vs warp prisms, overlord and Brood lords
-Redisgned air mode
-Has faster movement speed, attack range reduced to 6
Widow mine: Too much worker harass in the game
-nerfed damage
-can no longer attack workers
Battlecrusier: Making them more viable
-Tacticle jump removed
-Build time decreased from 90 sec to 80 sec
-ATA damage increased from 6 to 8
-ATG damage increased from 8 to 10
-Starting armor inccreased from 3 to 4
Liberator: Need sonething against light
-air attack damage increased to 4 vs light
Planetry Fortress: Turttling was too strong with this
-Removed
Barracks tech lab: Marauders no longer have concussive shells
-Stim research time reduced from 170 sec to 100 sec
Factory tech lab: Trying something new
-New upgrade: Stim- when done researching, Thors and Helbats can stim
MULES:
-Expires 10 seconds faster
-Energy cost increased from 50 to 75
-Requires engineering bay to unlock
Since the Queen got nerfed, I needed to nerf mules and chrono boost. Had to nerf the queen because with spawn broodling, mass queen would be OP.
some funny things that didnt make it in or i adjust values either up or down:
-Spawn broodling can be cast against air units
-Graviton Beam could lift up buildings
-Queen cost was 300 min/150 gas and 8 supply.
-Tempest was a super unit that could destory most buildings in 1 hit was really fast and short attack range and can build more than one
