In particular when the patch brings nothing if substance and thus reverting doesn't matter? 1. Yes we all know you don't care about this particular patch, but the world doesn't revolve around you. 2. Reverting everything means having to have everyone re-update everything later. Also you can't just schedule downtime at a whim, so might as well fix the issue before the next scheduled update.

Other users are experiencing the same issue(they've chimed in on the blizzard thread i've created that blizzard still has yet to respond to) and have tried even tried full reinstalls and repairing the client. Still no fix. Do you have a newish graphics card? Cause mine is fairly outdated (ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT). Just wondering if it's older cards that are being affected, although we wouldn't know for sure with a sample size of three. Anyways, just curious. We are waiting the Blizzard´s answer.... https://us.battle.net/forums/en/sc2/topic/20759528101?page=1#post-7 Maybe you can write there to press Blizzard. Pd: I can see the green circle in another modes.. but not in 1v1...lol Same question for you riter.

I have an ATI radeon 4200 HD. I run sc2 on lowest. Never ever had any issues.

Win 7/ 64 bit, ATI Radio 4200 HD. Worked fine before the update about 4 or 6 days ago. Since then the green selection circle does not appear. Impossible to play well without that. (I once sent a fleet of 1 drop ships to position for attack). Only later did I realize only one was selected. Reported as bug to Blizzard with screenshot 2 days ago. No response yet. Also asked question on StackExchange

*Edit: And if anyone is using hybrid/wonky settings, what are they set to out of curiosity? Also, they're obviously aware of and looking for the problem and the solution, and being negative all over this and the Blizz forums doesn't do anything for anybody (except validate other people who are also looking to be negative).

I noticed for some players the selection indicator seems to appear "below" the map textures in certain areas but not others, and for other players they apparently don't show up at all (even for air units). *Edit: And if anyone is using hybrid/wonky settings, what are they set to out of curiosity? I'm experiencing the same issues the OP is experiencing. All of my graphics settings are on low. I'm not supposed to be negative about this? I'm not supposed to talk about the crap quality of support blizzard offers? Let's get one thing straight. That is a completely arbitrary thing to do and speaks from a perspective of authority. You do not get to decide how others carry themselves and guess what, if you don't like something that you perceive as "negativity" then don't read it. No one is forcing you to. Why are we making a big deal out of this? Because blizzard neglects to act with a sense of urgency when dealing with issues. If we don't make a big deal about these issues and put pressure on them, they'll put it on the back burner even more thinking it's not a priority or important. So yes, It's important to put these issues out in the open and voice them on their forums and any platform that their representatives frequent.

It's ok to be upset about this issue. But it's almost spamming to have almost the half of your posts in a non-blizzard thread about how extremely bad blizzard's support is. Go ahead and open a thread as a place for ranting about the badness of blizz support. But here it's really not helpful.
