He's probably thinking to himself right now 'man, I've already caught up with all these kids and I've only been playing casually for a few months.'"

From the Ro8 on, it is Bo5 except the final. Source: https://bnetcmsus-a.akamaihd.net/cms/gallery/i3/I3F8YXZ7WB0Y1521742010792.pdf

Glad that both German players got into the RO8. Hopefully we can see a "Doppelspitze" here Nice Preview. I think the EU scene has gotten a bit more shaken up in the last weeks/months. And the rest of the NA scene is catching up to its top players imo. Also great to see a comeback of Kane. I missed that crazy guy :D Hope that there is an european expert that contributes in the future. Would be neat.

Stupid question, is there a reason why WCS Europe plays groups A and B directly back-to-back, but has a one week break in between Groups B, C and D?

The spread out nature of this challenger feels weird, IMO. Well there's like a 5 month gap between the first and 2nd WCS of the year so they need to keep the players busy.

A great idea to get feardragon's insights on the NA scene. Maybe Rotti can help out with EU next week, that would be so cool. Can't wait to watch Nerchio's group and it's always nice to see Big Gabe do well.

IMO from the french scene, stephano is quite far from #1 spot, Dns is way above, Ptitdrogo most likely is too and we did not see any win in underdogs. I would rank him barely between 5 and 3 (battling with the like of clem, shadown, denver). We always overestimate is level (counter-stats effect) due to is previous glory. But he is strong in macrogame ZvP only.
