But that is just my memory, got no sources to back it up. If it's a 1 to 1 macro it should be fine (such as rebinding a key to something else). But if you bind more than one action to a key, you can get banned.

I don't think people suggested anything for tracking APM... However, the new SC2 UI's like remastered Terran and SC20 Anniversary game consoles actually show you your APM ingame. So that is pretty useful maybe check there? To get to it / add it: Augments -> Consoles -> Remastered Console / SC20 Anniverssary console Thing is though for remastered you have to log in at any point during the sc20 anniversary and for the SC20 console (The like galaxy themed one) You had to watch the Starcraft mainstream for at least 2 hours. Currently these are the only two UI's/Consoles I know of that show APM, personally, I think the concept was genius and should be a toggle on/off option for all the consoles since its pretty nice to have.

Using the macros to automate game play is prohibited. If you have a mouse like the Razer Naga with extra 17 keys, or a Keyboard with extra macro keys, you can associate one key to each command (let's say this: you have a black widow with those macro keys on the left, you are using grid keys, and want to avoid to stretch over 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0, then you can put the numbers on the macro keys and roll with it). But you can't put "select rax + marine hotkey + marine hotkey + marine hotkey + marine hotkey + marine hotkey + marine hotkey" to speed up marine production. The complete email: Hello Sinistro, Thank you for contacting me, my name is XXXXX (replaced due to privacy reasons). The use of macros in the game is not prohibited.
