You have to install the KR client an then relocalize in NA

I think 1.2.1 is out, time for a new version?
|
i dled a patch today.. oddly enought it allowed me to dl it(usually the dl freezes because of the relocalizer) but then i couldnt login to any of the servers apart from NA, bnet kept telling me that it didnt recognize my client

I think 1.2.1 is out or something... cuz today when tried to run Starcraft 2, it automatically started to update and in the 99% got an error "Patch Aborted". uU Any solution?

New patch out this morning...allowed me to dl...even to log in, but once inside b.net I get an error of game patch version when trying to start a multiplayer game - works ok with singleplayer though. I have an enGB install relocalized to enUS.

likewise...i think this happens everytime with new patch after using relocalizer -_-...anyone know easy fix without reinstall?
|
Not that I'm aware of...I've had to reinstall the game many times over due to these kinds of events. Given it's understandable that girlscoutcookie has better things to do than be on the lookout for any new patch every second of her life, I've begun downloading the enUS client (7gb on a slow 100kb's connection) to avoid these issues in the future.

Anyone knows if its working with patch 1.2.1?
|
Doesn't work for me. What error do you get?
|
I haven't tried it to the end but I reinstalled the game and when I tried to reinstall the relocalizer 0.11, it shows up some errors, shouldn't work I guess... I'd rather wait for the new version.

There is no need to reinstall, after you patch simply run the relocaliser bat, relocalize to the locale you want, switch to that locale, and back again to your source locale. Afterwards, there will be no errors.

It's not that simple I think. Im in this situation: enUS source and ptBR battle.net. Then when I start the Starcraft2, the updater can't patch it. oO And if I reinstall the enUS official installer, it won't update to 1.2.1. But if I use the Relocalization again, the game starts to try update again. (but the update still aborting).

Interesting, I'm going from enUS to enGB. My most recent locale was enUS, and patched it. I launched the game after the patch, and received errors when I tried joining a custom game that "you must patch to the most recent patch to play", or something along those lines. I exited, went to relocaliser, chose relocalise a locale, and chose enGB. After that completed, I chose switch locale to enGB, then back to enUS. I launched sc2 and was then able to join games.

This is assuming that a new version of the relocalizer was made for the newest patch though...right? In which case you have to wait till girlscoutcookie codes another one or code one yourself...

I'm in the same situation as you and did the same thing as you, but still get the "you must patch to the most recent patch to play" or whatever error.
EDIT: Yeah, avilo, a new version needs to be made, but what riwoz was saying was that his method allowed him to still play on NA post-patch without reinstalling (if I'm understanding him correctly) but he won't be able to play on EU until GSC releases a new version.
I'm in the same boat as you and cannot play on NA or EU right now, even after trying riwoz's method.

For the Brazilian guys, we will have to wait for girlscoutcookie to make a new relocalizer version. I believe he took 1 or 2 days for 1.2.0, but it probably depends on his availability.
While that does not happen, I recommend reinstalling the English client and downloading the patches.

But I'm worried, girlscoutcookie doesn't post here since a loooong time, i hope that he post here saying: yeah, I'm working on it.
Just like that
girlscoutcookie we love you, show us some love please <3

I would just like to point out that I tried simply relocalizing to EU and then relocalizing back to NA and now I can join games and play perfectly thanks to someone posting here.

Yes, it is that simple. You have to reinstall the game. If you had used relocalizer before or if you read the thread you'd figure that out. You have to reinstall the game, there's no way out. What I was talking about is after reinstalling the game and patching, the old version didn't seem to work. If you don't believe me, girlscoutcookie said it him/herself:
