Plastic cover is so useful :3 I'm even thinking of getting an actual cover off elitekeyboards. That'll become more likely as the plastic cover starts to wear.

So many people have bought this keyboard :O i thought i was gonna be like the only one ahha

I use a g9x and would buy another if this ever had a horrible mouse-breaking accident. Or maybe one of Logitechs newer devices as ive had *nothing* short of a great history with them.

Well, I use mine for keeping dust out from in between the keys while I'm not using it. I'm assuming lynx.oblige does a similar thing.

I'd assume it's also an inconvenience to always take it off. Also, you have it lying around on your table or something…

Less than the inconvenience of cleaning it. I don't really get why it matters anyway. Theres no law saying you have to keep your keyboard clean, people just prefer it that way. I only put the cover on if I'm going away for a few weeks.

Not just cleaning it. When you are transporting the keyboard, it's always nice to have a cover protect the keys.

I eat lunch at my desk, so the cover is nice so I don't drop crumbs or spill something into my keyboard.

The tenkeyless ones are all NKRO, so it's a bit apples-to-oranges. But I'd pay more for the tenkeyless even if that wasn't the case, because I value my desk space and not having my keyboard so far off to the left and having to reach as far for my mouse.

Thanks for the info!
I am not so concerned about the sound but more of the feel. I have heard people say that they have a very similar feel but I have also heard some people say that the browns are too light for them (too easy to depress) and they prefer the blues.
Since I have no way of trying them out, does anyone know the resistance on a standard membrane keyboard (approximate)?
Thanks

Mine arrived on monday, and I agree, typing on it feels very, very nice. The sensation is hard to explain -- it's like every key press has a very precise and definite feel to it, makes typing fun! Highly recommended.

just got my majestouch tactile touch cherry brown keyboard! i was looking for a mechanical keyboard and was thinking about the steelseries 7g, i'm glad i held off on that because the key layout wasn't very pretty. so i gotta thank CaptainFwiffo for starting this thread and introducing me to this i love the simple layout of this keyboard no frills or gimmicks just a nice bad ass keyboard. it's not as loud as i thought it would be (although definitely louder than my previous membrane keyboard) it's quite fun to actually type on. i have no previous experience with mechanical keyboards but if this thing lasts as long as advertised i'd definitely recommend this over any membrane.
i definitely gotta mass game and see what starcraft is like on this bad boy

Those of you in Canada that recieved their keyboards, which date did you order it on, and which date did you receive it. Also, if you don't mind, I would like to know which shipping option you chose. The province where you are would be very valuable as well. I am only asking because I want to estimate the time of arrival of mine. Thank you and enjoy your awesome keyboards!
