Hiya fellow TLers i come to you in dire need of assistance, seeing as the blizzard tech support team has failed to contact me despite my pleas of help.
i've gotten my hands on a NA account.
i've also got a EU account.
the NA account is up and running and SC2 is active in manage games. but my problem does not lie with account issues, it's with installing the game.
i've got a EU install of the game and the Relocalizer i aquired off of these forums helped me to switch between the two regions but when i accessed the NA region i get the message that an "Authorized language pack is required", i can clearly see the window in the background that will eventually allow me to Name my character on the NA server.
now i've resorted to downloading the 7gb NA client, but it wont install, therein lies my current problem, EU version installs fine but the NA version stops and freezes at 1%, and the file ticker says 16/37600.
im installing it under a different folder as to not overwrite the EU localization, im unsure what is wrong here.
i would like to know if anyone has experienced this problem and has found a solution, or if someone has an incling as to what the matter could be.
Thanks for your time.
oh and TL;DR: EU will install but NA wont for some reason, trying to have both copies on HDD.

I spent 2 hours trying to figure out what was wrong and guess what? eject the disc in your computer and install it lol. It continues past 16 xD.

thx for replying, i managed to solve the Issue: in case anyone else has the same issue: it's fairly specific though
i got this message when installing NA version:
"The file "D:\Installer Tome 1.MPQE" could not be opened, because an error 108 occurred. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (OpenArchive::Execute) "
i noticed the D:\ bit and went HANG ON!?, D:\ is my dvd drive..... turns out apparently whilst installing a Digital download and having a copy of SC2 in your DVD drive it decides to install files from the DVD aswell.
simply removing the EU DVD from my DVD drive solved the issue for me and it's installing now.

I'd recommend using the SC2 Relocalizer by GirlScoutCookie instead of installing the game twice as it'll save a lot of space.

as mentioned in the OP i did try that, but as i switched to the NA version i got the Authorized language pack required problem.
im hoping a full install of the NA client will fare better.

Sorry, I kinda skim read the OP before, didn't notice you say you'd tried it before. Either way, if you're getting that error you likely didn't use the relocalizer right then. If you post your log in the thread someone'll probably help you fix it.

im surprised it wasn't a registry value conflict. good to know it's fixable though

Now i have a different problem, i've managed to install the NA version, but now when i install the NA version the EU version gives me the language pack error, and when i install the EU version the NA one gives me the language pack error.
they are installed in different folders.
this is soooo frustrating.
