Its ok for me, even though i would prefer it gone, but others have problems. I played a whole day with it now and i think its the best mouse i had for years (Xornet was good too, but doesnt support my DPI setting). definate recommendation for the G502 from a guy who tried a lot of mice recently. And by try i mean buy for way too much money!

I've got a pretty nice mouse, but it came with the computer, it has adjustable sensibility and that stuff, so it itsnt the worst but probably isn't the best and i want to change it. My candidates are Deathadderr/chroma, could be cool, i like that it changes colors and 6400 dpi sounds good but it just havs 4 buttoms i think. Then there is the razer naga, with 8400 dpi, and 12 buttoms, i don't play much MMOs, but sometimes i do, i don't think i need the 12 buttoms but the 8400 dpi sounds great. Now, theres the razer naga hex, i would buy it in a beat, 6 extra buttoms, looks cool, but it only has 5600 dpi.... I don't know how good that is? the price between the 3 isn't much different, so i could afford any one. Also if im correct, pro gamers don't use all the dpi cause its tooooo sensible? what do you think? I wouldn't ask but theres no info about the naga hex on the OP, does any of you have it?

When your mouse is set up correctly, DPI is nothing but a measure of sensitivity - and too fast is bad. Most good mouse players use ~1000dpi on 1080p. While DPI doesn't matter once you have the right amount for your sensitivity, sensor quality does matter and the only mouse on that list that i would personally consider using would be the deathadder chroma, if the shape was good for me. The sensors in the other ones are usable but they're not good and it's an obvious priority if you care about mouse performance.

+ Show Spoiler + It's the third one my wife uses in less than a year (First time the mouse decided to move around alone so i think sensor was damaged. Sensor died on the second mouse 3month later. Now she received her 3rd (LDLC have good support).) so... we are looking for a replacement one when it will break again (hopefully it won't) but i can't find anymouse that have a similar shape.

I bought a mouse that when i drag a box too fast it ignores the input or the box starts when im repositing the mouse, it does everyting normal except dragging boxes... (so playing RTS is out of question). There is a solutuion via settings or this is a case of bad hardware?

It'll affect you elsewhere, but it's very obvious when boxing or trying to click singular zerglings on creep. That would be a hardware problem, if that's the case, though it's sometimes adjusted through different firmware revisions. Which mouse is it?

I'm not sure with asus mice, they're relatively new to the market but that mice looks like basically a Deathadder reskinned. Take a look at those, even though DA's too aren't known for their durability. For best durability, look at Logitech, although they mostly have palm-gripped mice only. I own a G400s (discontinued I think) and use a claw/fingertip grip and am fine though, but I have fairly big hands.

But this is strange, i had some other shitty mouses (that i got for free) and they could drag boxes almost in the same way i only tossed then after a time because of the undesired double click.

1. What's your grip style? Hybrid between claw/palm; I have a very small hand 2. What's your sensitivity? low-med, 1000dpi 3. What's your maximum budget? I have used "gaming mice" at the top of the price range. But here, I am looking for any cheap, good quality one (regardless of brand). Max budget is, lets say, $25. 4. Do you want additional buttons? Left, scroll, right click only preferred. I don't mind having an extra 2 buttons though. 5. What games do you play? SC, LoL 6. Do you mind angle snapping? Preferably no. Just a simple mouse with a reliable sensor for gaming. 7. Other relevant information: I want a lightweight, small mouse (let's say, less than 80g and < 118mm in length). Not heavy click, non glossy, wired mouse. Preferably ambidextrous, maybe like an egg-shape similar to the logitech mini optical/zowie mico would be cool. I'm looking for a very simple design, no flashing lights. The main requirement I'm looking for is the size- smaller than 118mm in length, because this new mouse has to be an improvement from what I have now. In my possession, for reference: logitech g9x, logitech g1, logitech g100s, ss kinzu v2 pro.

Not sure why you would single out wanting the worse sensor type
