everything has its flaws :D i can send it back if it gets annoying. It's likely partially caused by the differences in size/shape of the mouse too, it's easier to make a sudden stop/start with the 303 shell than a 402/502. It's visible but not during slow movement or large jumps, mostly when you do a chain of fast short movements. His is def worse than mine ~ Rattling does seem like a common problem with the g303. I think cpate said the issue was fixed, but who knows how many of the older batches with the problem are still at retailers. 2 of 3 of my g303s rattle.1 rattles much louder than the other as well. looks like a quality control + build quality issue. I would be more worried if i was actually playing FPS games because that would beat up the internals a lot more with sharp 40cm swipes and sudden accel/decel Thanks for the links. Seems like recent discussion in the thread is on the same topic

It the same problem, the sensor/lens/whatever can move and wobbles a bit when you make a sharp acceleration or decelleration which makes the cursor position change by a few pixels (or way more, at high sens if you have the issue quite bad)

Maybe it's not a design problem and some guys just got unlucky on the QC.

and my grip naturally settles above the bump It's mostly the people trying to grip otherwise that have issues i think; the material and shape behind that doesn't really allow you to grip or control the mouse
