Everything else internet-wise worked perfectly, I could get to tl on my mobile phone connection fine. I tried different browsers, tried it on my mom's computer and it still didn't work. Any idea what happened? Is it possible that it's ip banned or something?? Most likely it's a bad DNS cache entry somewhere in your router or your ISP.

Just bought a new computer for around 3500$. It works fine but the sound is a bit annoying. So iam curious if the lamp on the chassi at the front is any problem, the colour is orange/yellow on it. Is this any sign of problem with the computer? Also i can see through the computer, the lamp at the back is orange to, i guess its the graphic card or something. I tried to play diablo3 btw it worked fine.

I've got a Medion ERAZER X7817, with an i7-2670QM. It typically runs at 45°C when idle, 48-55°C when browsing or with a few programs up. Right now I have FF up with Skype and the webcam enabled, it runs at 55°C to near 60°C. When I watch streams, it usually goes slightly over 60°C, and when I play games, for example, FFXIV, it goes pretty easily over 70°C, though it doesn't reach 80°C often. If it does, it doesn't go above 81°C/82°C. Are those normal? I know laptops typically run hotter, but I'd prefer to have temps that would be considered safe nonetheless.

I'm going to have a couple electronics with me; should I buy a 120V -> 220V transformer in advance (online cheaper? haven't even looked in stores) or wait until I get there? Any recommended places to get one? Currently living in BC, Canada Are you sure you need it? All chargers and power bricks I look at around me seem to mention they work from 100V to 240V and both 50Hz and 60Hz. You might just need an adapter for the power outlets. [It's by the way 230V in all of Europe nowadays, Britain was 240V and mainland was 220V in the past.]

EDIT: Still alive, and the DMM says it's 225V. I'm guessing it might be the DMM being crappy, too cheap. I remember having an UPS that had a program where you could check various things and it reported something between 229V and 230V. EDIT2: I looked around in German forums and seen people report the voltage changing between 225V and 235V throughout the day where they live so my DMM might be telling the truth.

So the question is: Wait for 800 series or buy GTX 770? Other suggestions are welcome too~~

I have a budget of about 450-500 USD, I was looking at GTX 770 but maybe it's worth waiting for the 800 series? I heard it was supposed to be out around May? I'm not really in a massive rush to upgrade, I would like a new one before July though. So the question is: Wait for 800 series or buy GTX 770? Other suggestions are welcome too~~ What other parts do you have? A good alternative to a ~760 is probably more than a month or two away (q2 2014 would be a surprise, q3 not so much)
