I've put the game in full screen windowed mode and it still flickers :<.
Are you using the game source or are you just using a screen region/window for SC2?

What is the best mouse to play sc2 with? I have a G9 but its abit fat and not well suited for fast moving/clicking. What do the pros use?

I recently started to try streaming, and I am having some troubles. First of all, is it impossible to stream BF3 in full screen? Second, I have a really nice computer (i7-2600k, 580, etc), but it still lags terribly. Both on the stream and on my computer. Can anyone provide some tips? I can PM you the stream if it would be easier to work that way.

If you are using Xsplit then yeah you need the paid version to stream full screen anything. The beta only grabs windows.

My DoTA 2 FPS drops to about 70-80 but looks more like 30-40 when i open up xsplit and then either capture DoTA2 with screen region OR use gamesource. I normally have about 110-120 fps.
I also gain a sizable input lag (like 250ms), and the game looks choppy when I scroll around the screen.
If I decrease my stream fps (keep in mind this is WITHOUT being live), my problems in game seem to be reduced until I put it to about 4 fps, then It's fine. Obviously, I'm not going to stream at 4fps.
I've tried changing affinity, and using different resolutions, changing the preview scaling.. nothing seems to work except reducing the fps to 4....
simple question: xsplit destroys dota 2 fps while it's not live
I have a 2600k.

Can you illustrate how the command could be used in a vbs script? Huge programming newbie here
EDIT: p.s, why do programs snowball memory over time?

Actually no, I know very little about accessing APIs. I really am only familiar with the basics of VB and C#.
You might try asking here though: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=134491

are there any water cooling units that will fit in my Tt v3? i just bought a corsair h60 from microcenter and it didnt fit TT i want to oc my 1045T to 4GHZ

Any reason you want to pay extra to get worse performance with one of the self-contained water coolers? Are you going to be moving the case around a lot?
A relatively short 120mm fan tower cooler like Zalman CNPS10X Performa should fit and work roughly in the same class of performance. If not, add a second fan. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118059
Regardless of cooling, a lot of 1045T probably won't reach 4 GHz sanely though.

One of my family's computers just died. Is there a reason to wait for Ivy Bridge besides the expected %10 improvement? I am going to be re-using the GPU, so I don't need to worry about upcoming nvidia cards. Will the current mobo chipsets be obsolete? (although I don't really see what extra features would make the 7-series any better...)

z68/z77 motherboard (igp) + dvi port + 2560x1440 resolution
Possible? (No gaming, eclipse & friends only!)
No time to play games atm, holding off on buying a new video card until I have time. Wondering if I can power 2560x1440 out of a z68/z77 mobo's dvi port, or if I have to get an hdmi or displayport cable.
Does it vary from mobo to mobo? Or just not possible? Do all the mobos just have single link dvi? I think single link caps at like 1920x1200 or something. Not sure.

Just slap in a good HTPC type card. 430 or some such.
|
Yea considering doing that.
addendum: I have a hdmi->dvi dual link cable, would that work?
Not really sure why I don't have a proper hdmi cable in my big-ball-of-random-cables.
