Someone is selling the Poker II on amazon.co.uk but with £12 shipping. I presume they will ship to France if you contact them.
Can anyone recommend a mechanical keyboard that is <29cm? According to Amazon it is 35cm wide which doesnt make any sense? That might be the box. Elsewhere it is stated to be 29.6 cm wide. Can anyone confirm? Either way, can anyone recommend a <29cm mechanical (any but blue) keyboard with roll over. The chop mini I had was unable to do the backspace method. I have the Filco tenkeyless and it is great but if I could just get a compact keyboard minus the arrow keys I would be able to put my mouse and keyboard in the keyboard tray on my desk.

Wouldn't it be better to keep your Filco and just get a proper desk instead?

+1 for this, even if keyboard fits then a small tray is no way to use a mouse+kb for gaming

I have a Leopold fc200r, that is awesome as well for larger hands.

CMStorm Quickfire XT and Trigger are well-built and have standard size, so you can look at those two. I am not sure about Thermaltake and Corsair, but probably best to stay away from Razer given the choices you have. As for noise, Cherry MX Black/Red/Brown is what you should look for if you don't want a lot of noise, although they still produce some noticeable noise when bottom out hard, so O-ring should be considered as well

It isn't for me, I buy boring hardware. I need to spray paint my Abyssus to get rid of the back light.

If you open the Abyssus, that light has a cable and a plug that you can simply disconnect without breaking anything, so disabling the light like that is even reversible.

I got a poker 2 on it's way here. Once it gets delivered I can give you an exact measurement.

Hey, I decided to try out mechanical keyboards and ordered a razer blackwidow T.E. and a ducky shine 3 slim with brown switches. And I am now wondering, having both of them before me, what I should take notice of when trying them out especially when adapting to them from my old keyboard (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B001E2PJ9K/ref=wms_ohs_product?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -> as you may realize looking at the picture the switches are quiet large and don't go a long way to the bottom) since I have a feeling I massively favor razor due to the "more similar" feeling towards my old keyboard.
I don't really want to use both for more hours since I may send one back so I have to know what to expect.

Keep the Ducky, it's the superior keyboard.

The reason why I wanted to use the tray was that I have a big television for a monitor and the desk is small so I am sat right in front of a 50 inch screen and it is not good. Also the tray has enough room if I use a 60% keyboard. I can just about get away with using the tenkeyless but there is a bit more lifting of the mouse. I suppose that doesnt answer the question 'why not get a proper desk'. I can only say that I hate putting the buggers together and it is suprisingly hard to find a nice big desk at a reasonable price.
The Poker II arrived and unfortunately it does not register two keys at the same time in the following way: 'e' and 'r' held together, ererererererererererererererer on my Filco 'e' and 'r' held together on the Poker II errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
This is more or less a deal breaker because it is how I inject.
Does anyone have the Filco Manila and can they tell me if registers two keys held down together the same way the Majestouch does? Also, if anyone knows how to get the Poker II or any other mechanical keyboard to register two keys this way do tell.
