I have owned the US client since its release last July and this past week a friend gave me his Europe account to play on.
I downloaded the installer today and then downloaded the 8GB file. When I run the installer though, it tells me that all these folders and files already exist.
Now - I know I am supposed to install the Europe version to a different folder, and I did this. In the second step of installation I created a folder and told it to install in "Starcraft - EU".
However, the installer is still detecting my US version of SC2 and thus wants to overwrite and replace all the files.. I'm guessing this is not what is supposed to happen.
I tried renaming the US SC2 folder from "Starcraft II" to "Starcraft II - US" thinking it wouldn't find the files then, but that didn't work either.
So, at this point I turn to TL!
Here is a Screenshot - I guess it might help?

I just did this recently, go through and change all those files that you get errors for to xxx-NA so itll create those folders for the eu client
|
What do you mean?
Change ALL of those filenames to xxx-NA?
What about the folders?
|
all of the folders to xxx-NA
then try to run it again and see if you still get errors, if not, it'll install ^^
|
So files and folders?
Sorry, I just don't want to fuck up my US client so I'm being cautious

Changed folders, it starts to install... Never gets past 1% then gives this:
The file "E:\Installer Tome 1.MPQE" could not be opened, because an error 108 occurred. If this problem persists, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (OpenArchive::Execute)
Edit: Nevermind, Forgot I'm friends w/ Google

Read the comment on Blizzard, google the follow Error (wich appears after about ten minutes of waiting the efing install rise the 1%)

google it and it will appear several forum where people talk about this error, I have the same problem, but few second i found two answers that said this: I had the same problem and then i realized that the problem was that the Cd was inside the driver, put it out and will work, i havent tried it but i will, et me notice if you solve the problem.
