Selling out is an incomplete term. Sony perfected the art by not producing any supply to a mediocre demand so they can call it "sold out."

Yeah, but here both AMD and Nvidia aren't responsible for how much production is possible. They'd both want there to be more so they could sell more and make more money.

Yeah, decent. At least way better than Guru3d. Still framerate graphs are missing so : (. Hardocp for framerate comparisons all the way. Still, sweoverclockers is probably the best out of them, they were the first ones (waaaay before all the other pages, if they ever did one at all) to test BF3 multiplayer framerates on low resolutions. Also here, they were the first page to (officially) have a 680SLi review up. Scandinavians seem to have a slight edge over the rest of us Europeans. Don't have to talk about the US i guess.

Just ordered a 680 for my 2560x1440 Catleap Q270 that I had ordered a few days prior. Now I need to sell my 6870, any takers? :p

2560x1440 is the only resolution where a 7970 would've paid off lol.

I was somehow miraculously able to squeeze in an order on Newegg today, after watching them get posted around 9am EST, and then sell out before I could finish the order! They were back in stock sporadically throughout the day, and sold out as soon as they were posted, and after about 15 tries throughout the day I managed to get one through.
I'm so pumped. For a bit of context I'm running a GTX295 that I bought back in 2009. I am so excited for this card - should be an absolutely massive boost!
*edit* EVGA model for those who care.

How much? And have you banged it up a lot?
Er.... respond to me in PM's now that I think about it.

Meant to say 7970 XD... is there any reason to recommend a 7970 at current pricing? (Excluding randomness like ONLY playing metro or something)
Kepler mobile is looking decent too it would be nice if they had actual specs though.

Wonder if that's the higher ram on the 7970 coming into play, or its something else. If that trend continues for multi-monitor gaming, enthusiasts might consider the 680 a loser vs 7970.
Well I doubt the software will be optimized at this stage, so we should expect some increase in performance down the line.

Tahiti is in stock while Kepler is not. Who knows how long Twin Frozr IV and DirectCu II will take to show up.

W1zzard has somethign to say about that although he's talking about the digitally signed and locked bios
nobody knows. right now board partners are in panic mode because of all the new thingies and dynamic oc eating into the sales of their OC boards
nvidia was very clear that partners must install power measurement circuitry, must guarantee stability over all clock&voltage combinations, must mention both base and boost clock in their messaging, must enable dynamic oc and can only incresae oc base and boost by the same percentage Herp nvidia doesn't want to douche at like msi putting out a card with base clock at 1200mhz but then no oc clock just to get it to sell more because that's the number that pops up near the clock part for say newegg.com

I never put too much stock into single card gains they are usually small a few %, so basically if the cards are close just call it even. I put more stock into sli/crossfire gains though hell last amd release they didn't even have crossfire drivers for weeks on end.
Either way one of the thing things of the card is that you can use 2dvi and 1 hdmi, you can infact you all 4 ports, but on a single card you can only use 3 monitors for surround, the last monitor wont be able to game with, not too big of deal for a single card imo.
