This program would work wonderful for people who stream games all full screen, but not if people are streaming only portions of their screens. So good for sc2 and LoL and such, but not for streaming more casual games. I've had no problems selecting specific programs or screen regions... Add software capture source (name) Select Window Capture (instead of Monitor Capture) Select the program you're running windowed EDIT: unlike selecting a windowed program in Xsplit, you won't get the window borders - just the screen area. -OR- Add software capture source (name) Check "Sub-Region" Click "Select Region" Size/Move the white box (drag corners, click-hold and drag) until it covers the area of the screen you want to capture. Click outside the white area or press ESC EDIT: *note* for manual region selection, the area extends to the very outside of the white box (not the inner black line that's used to indicate the inner edge of the border).

I have a couple questions though, would it be possible to have it show mouse clicks like the way that xsplit does? And can the image slideshow source be set to randomize the order in which the images are displayed?

I have also a request: I would really love to have 2 possible microphone / auxilary audio devcies. The problem I have is that i use spotify for music in the backgrond but also want commentary. So I have to decide either to use spotify (cause it is on "wave"-device) or my microphone. It would be SO great if you could add that option, cause none other streaming programm has that. Thanks so much again

The issues with delaying is getting disconnected for whatever reason, internet outage or just the server disconnecting for whatever reason. But hey, anyone using the delay feature should go into it knowing full well the risks.

There are apparently server-side solutions on some services, but from testing they don't seem very reliable, and seem to vary from service to service. Well, I really hope you look at my suggestion (a separate relay that can handle multiple streaming providers and also provide stream delay), To be honest, I don't think it's a case of "must" implement into obs, a separate "relay" will do just fine. I know, it's some extra work but at least you keep obs doing what is supposed to do, capture, encode and forward the data. Oh and using BitBlt with CAPTUREBLT is a bitch, didn't found a solution to it so far.

Xsplit: http://www.twitch.tv/wpnewborn/b/335620702 OBS: http://www.twitch.tv/wpnewborn/b/335958517 obs.Jim: The only thing I would really like to see added is a current viewers display. I can't seem to find one for that but it's not a big deal since I can always just go to my stream on twitch to check viewership. Edit: I also want to point out you'll notice a big difference in audio quality (specifically with my computer's built-in mic) even though I was using the paid version of xsplit and streaming audio at the same bitrate. I don't know if its an audio encoding thing or what.
