I may add mono audio as well when I get to the audio update.
Ok. Where is this sync fix again?
EDIT: NVM we got it.

advanced section in settings. let me know how that works out by the way. update after next is going to be an audio-centered update so I'm going to try to get more options in there for audio I think.
sorry about the lack of updates everyone -- I've been spending a -bit- too much time on game capture again because it's just so much fun to work on. going to go easy on it and get out some updates soon.

often times i will press stop streaming and then the program becomes unresponsive. i dont know how to terminate it... wont go away unless i reboot. any help?

How do you move the webcam overlay around as a source? The only option I get is to Center it or the Fit the whole screen.
|
aBStractx - you should give it 60 seconds before trying to terminate it. also, you shouldn't need to reboot, hit Ctrl-Shift-Escape to enter task manager, click the process tab, and then goto OBS.exe and terminate it if you wish.
But I apologize if that happens to you -- I'll take a look to verify that there's nothing weird going on when shutting down.
spybreak - to move a source, turn on edit mode, and then simply click on it and drag it to your desired location.

I'm not getting much better results than Xsplit.
I'm getting a lot of dropped frames at 720p @ 60 fps / 3000kbps on an i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz I don't think it's my internet because I have like 20mbps upload and it's pretty consistent. My computer/gaming starts to feel really sluggish too. Do I just have really high expectations?
I'm not sure how Quantic Illusion is doing that on an i5 3570 @ 3.4ghz

You are still getting the error for d3dx10_43.dll? Or is it something else? If you get an error for dwmapi.dll, that means you're on XP, and unfortunately XP is unsupported due to the fact that microsoft withheld directx 10+ support from XP users. If you're getting a "swap chain" error when trying to stream, try using the "Disable Direct3D compatibility mode" in advanced settings.
Is this a windows setting or a OBS setting. If it's an OBS setting I certainly don't notice such an option under advanced settings. If it's a windows 7 setting I have no clue where to find it.
Thanks for the help!

jacosajh - How are you capturing specifically? You shouldn't feel any effect with that computer.
L_Master - I actually took that feature out because it was no longer necessary -- I made it automatically handle it.

Hmm, I'm still getting the error message. Any thoughts?

L_Master - what GPU does your machine use? is it a laptop by any chance? some intel GPU chips on laptops are not compatible with it at all. I have also heard of the occasional mobile AMD chips having issues.

I believe its Intel(R) HD Graphics.

Anyone know why when I try to broadcast blops 2 it just shows as a black screen on justin or twitch?
All the other COD games and sc2 stream fine, but blops2 is a black screen...

Hey Jim, I fixed my problem with it not picking up my source. I just had to run the program using my onboard graphics card - Intel(R) HD 3000...
Thanks for your help guys

Having the same issue with an Intel GMA 950. Any hope for me/us?

@ jacosajh: Try to set prerendered frames in your nvidia control panel to 1 (if you have nvidia, dunno what the equivalent is on ati).

Hi all, one of my friends is streaming with OBS and is very happy about it. I think it is a really good programm and I want to sream too. I know that my CPU is not strong enough to stream, my internet connection is ok. My system:
Asus M4A87TD (xtreme design motherboard M4A87TD), AMD870, ATX, DDR3 AMD X2 250 mit 3.0GHz Dualcore Prozessor 4GB DDR3 Arbeitspeicher mit 1333 MHz CPU-Kühler 550 Watt Netzteil NVIDEA GeForce GTS 450 mit 1024MB
If I only buy a new CPU (a quad core), would it be enough to stream on a good qualitiy and how much money would it cost? Thanks and greetz Fibbz

I´m running Windows7 32Bit ...

your GPU may not support the features I use with directx.. I'm really sorry if that is indeed the case. I make use of some of the latest directx technologies and some intel GPUs unfortunately do not work with it.

GMA is unfortunately really old and bad. Only Intel HD 3000 and other 2nd / 3rd gen Core based integrated graphics work right now.
