This computer did have a problem, which took years to fix out of neglect (I forget what it was, but the computer was wiped clean to fix it). I'm using it now and it works fine with everything but video games. It freezes when playing Diablo 3 after 10mins if I do not have a fan behind the computer as I am starting to suspect the problem is overheating. When I do have a fan behind it blowing inside the computer I can play for hours. However I tested it with Elder Scrolls Oblivion and it froze on the character selection screen even with a fan blowing into the computer.
So I'm not sure if it really is overheating or something else.
